According to some here who think Eddie will shine now and its a blessing that the rockets now have mo injured. All I got to say is Shutup...

Crispee says it best right here
Francis and Mobley must play yet another year without a full complement frontline. This really sucks. Losing a young, important starter always sucks. Anyone who doesn't think so must be chuckling at Mo's misfortune, because you don't like him as our starter.

Im not a big fan of KT from the beginning, so having him start makes me more pissed off. And Eddie Griffin isnt ready yet, but will learn alot quicker. Eddie is very young , I will be surprised if he posted 15 points, 8 rebounds. He doesnt know how the nba game is played.

With Mo , the rockets lose alot. Yeah he sucked on the boards and defense. But he was the only post up player that went inside and produced points. He had a nice touch from 15 feet.

Kenny Thomas on the other hand cant hit a shot from outside if his life was depending on it. I rather let Bill Worrell jack those 3s that KT does every game.

Im pretty sure Rudy knows this, and is probably going to get help. I hope.

I hope that Rudy T and CD go out and get someone. The situation is urgent and dire. Get Moochie re-signed or get Damon Jones, trade the Wiz for Jahidi, and get Marc Jackson. However, all I ever said was that if these players do not come to Houston, then KT deserves a chance. I didn't say he was going to save the Rockets season. He could have a career year. I bet he will have a better year than Cato. It will be so funny if KT does start and plays well. Then it will be interesting to see how many of the KT haters change their tune. I know exactly who they are. Hey, I'll be the first to eat crow and admit that I was the biggest jackass if KT sucks this year. But for God's sake, let's give the poor guy a chance. Some of you have crucified him without even giving him a fair trial.

Steve Francis mentioned that this Kenny Thomas' chance to prove his mettle.

It certainly means more minutes for Kenny Thomas. And Cato ought to assert himself.

The problem is the Rockets gave Taylor $48 million for nothing.

I already said this before that it would have better to use that money to acquire Marc Jackson, and then Moochie Norris. Taylor wasn't any good anyway.

I think the Rockets will find out they don't need Maurice Taylor.

Sure, if that $48 mil was to be paid to him all this season. Come on, at least give the guy a chance to recover and contribute in the future. It is not like he is 37 and won't be able to come back. Dude is 24 and young. He will heal, he will return, and we will still get 5 years out of him for that contract.

What does this mean? My only guess is that you think the Rockets expected him to get hurt, and will continue to get hurt for five more years. That's why they gave him a contract.

And I hope you'll find out this board does not need posts like yours.

I think what people are forgeting about Maurice is that his injury came at a pick up game. This means he was out there working his but off trying to improve. What more can you ask of a guy? He's 24, potential, hard working. He is worth what we are paying him.

    Behad,

A little more inclusivity and tolerance never hurt a BBS. Even a stupid post serves a purpose, if only to shake off apathy from the converted.

The Rockets won't pay Mo a dime this year, they almost certainly had enough insurance to cover his contract.
