Moochie has been playing pretty well as of late, including today against us. What has inspired this sudden change? Is our system really one that bogs players down so much? We have seen the effectiveness of players that we consider to not be as good as their play on a certain team suggests. Richard Jefferson has been used as an example many times. Brad Miller seems to be greatly benefitting from his move to the Kings, to the point that he is arguably their second most valuable player right now. Is it our system? Is change necessary?
Oh lord, the guy got his points in junk time when his team was losing to us by 20+ throughout the whole game. His poinst were meaningless, and his success didn't help the team.
Aside from this game, Mooch has looked good for the Knicks apparently. He's playing well, there's no denying that. I think Mooch is better suited to a slightly faster paced style. Plus, having Houston and Van Horn has a tremendous impact on spacing, which helps players that like to penetrate.
Richard Jefferson has played every game of his career with the same team. Brad Miller was an All Star last year with the Pacers.
People who have watched the Rockets for years remember that there was a time when Moochie was a great backup who could hit 3's and get some quick offense. I don't know what happened in the last 2 years, but things just weren't working out for Mooch here, I'm glad he's playing better and hope he keeps playing well.
moochies points were garbage. I don't think it's such a great idea to bash the system after a 111-79 victory in NY.
Dude who cares? Give props to Mooch. He was able to knock down the shots unlike when he played with us. Looks like a promising season for Mooch as a Knicks. Best wishes to Mooch in NY.
Everyone knows he was garbage over here. Good for him that he is doing good over there. HOW ABOUT NO MORE THREADS ABOUT MOOCHIE, HE IS NO LONGER ON OUR TEAM.
That is true. But when he was with Rox, he couldn't hit a wide open 15 footer in garbage time. He hit at least 4 3-pointers tonight. What happened to him?
I think Moochie is playing better because he has the confidence that I.Thomas wants him on the team.He was never comfortable with JVG. New York is also wanting to play a moe penetrating game instead of the more half court milk the clock game that we are playing.
Showdowns against the team that traded you do that, I guess. Good luck to Mooch. Hope his shot continues to fall with the Knicks.
all his pts. weren't at garbage team unless you argue that garbage time started in the first quarter. he was seriously the only bright spot for the knicks tonight. i've seen moochie play in every game since he was traded and the guy is playing pretty well. and definitely seems to be a serviceable backup.
I read something about one of the Knicks boards saying that Moochie imediately became their third best player when they traded for him. I think they undersold him a bit, he was their best player tonight. Which says a lot about the knicks. I wouldn't get to excited about the blowout tonight.
