I think that this was at least the second best series, behind the Next Generation. I'm really going to miss this show. A brilliant finale to a fantastic series. I hope that this next "Enterprise" show turns out well, because I'm going to miss getting my Trek fix every week.

    Thank you Voyager...

Voyager? Didn't that guy shoot himself in the face 10 years ago?

    ZRB,

    I will miss Trek also.

Original Trek---Kirk too much over the top acting (almost hamming)

NG--Riker was too arrogant...everything else was fine.

DS9--Great stuff, except when they went for the mystic stuff

Of the four.......I liked DS9 best.

True....the DS9 close was just strange and had plenty of the mystic mumbo jumbo stuff which I didn't care for.

The Voyager finale rocked. It put the X-files finale to utter shame and humiliation.

I am going to miss the show and cast.... especially looking at Seven of Nine in that tight uniform. Not seeing her anymore is enough to make a grown man cry.

But, what an ending!!! And they made it home in the weirdest way. I don't think the finale could have been any better. With the Trek fan base out there, I am surprised and disappointed that the show will not go on. I guess they had to make it home some time. Did I mention how much I enjoyed the finale [IMG]?

Now, onward to the next series this Fall, Enterprise, with Scott Bakula. Should be interesting although more primitive. No cool displays or bridge...just a bunch of button pushing and squeeky chairs. But it's Trek and it will go on.

I wonder if we have truly seen the last of the Voyager crew? Kind of funny how rushed it all seemed there at the end. It seems like Seven and Chakotay were rushed into a relationship. It developed in what...5 minutes? I guess that is long enough to be intimate [IMG].

Just because their home doesn't mean they have to become bums. Their still young. They should be exploring. Maybe they will take over in the movie realm after "Next Generation". I'm pretty sick of "Next Generation". Anything to get Seven of Nine back on the screen in that tight outfit....DAYAMN!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm suffering from withdrawal already.

    My Star Trek preferences:
    1. DS9
    2. ST
    3. Voyager (This spot could easily be taken over by Enterprise if it turns out to be any good)
    4. TNG

    I loved the ending. Terrific!

I think putting the new series only about 100 years from present day is a really interesting idea. It brings up all sorts of possibilities.

As for the cast of Voyager, I gotta believe at least some of them will be invited to do films. The new film, Nemesis, had to be cast with one-film contracts because the cast's long-term deals were up with Insurrection.

My guess is that a few of the TNG cast will decide not to return. Brent Spiner has said he would prefer not to continue as Data and Gates McFadden is not a huge fan. The rest of that cast loves the show from what I've read.

Of the Voyager crew, only Chakote HATED his role. I think Seven will be reluctant to return because Jeri Ryan is really an IT girl in Hollywood at the moment. Tuvak is not fond of the show but he actually made his original appearance in TNG as a different character. Paris, Belana, the Doctor, Janeway and Harry Kim all seem like they could easily be lifers.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Scott Bakkula as the new/old captain. I always liked him on Quantum Leap and he seems like a great fit.

    I'm such a geek.

The show was Voaygers and Jon-Erik Hexum was the guy who killed himself back in 1984. Peluce is the half brother of Soleil Moon Frye of Punky Brewster fame currently in Sabrina the "Teenage" Witch.

    The internet is awesome!

    1. The Next Generation
    2. Deep Space Nine
    3. Original Trek
    4. Voyager(I thought it sucked)

I thought Next generation was the complete package
DS9 - they were missing a lil something
but had some D*MN Interesting characters
The most interesting cast and diverse cast
    of all the Trek
The Original . . is the original
Voyager Sucked - Kim and Paris were d*mn near intervchangable. . . not character really. I tired of THE DOCTOR and 7 of 9 because they dominated every episode. Janeway = Plainway nasal and arrogant more so than Riker. Tuvok has playin in so many different Trek and as so many different people it is funny.

Only interesting characters were Neelix, Chekotay, and Neelix's old wife.

    Chakotay = interesting??? uh...no

Kim and Paris had exactly opposite personalities, how were they interchangable?

Voyager's cast was very diverse as it had a black actor, an asian actor, a hispanic actress and a native american actor

I can't stand by and listen to anyone who rates DS9 anywhere but last on the Trek totem pole. That is as weak as it gets. Rocket River, almost everything you said about Voyager characters was wrong. If Voyager had weaknesses, it was in weak story lines. Seven of Nine was almost not in some of the epidodes. Each character had shows revolve around them. Granted, the Doctor did have a lot more shows geared toward him but he offers more flexibility in stories because he's a damn program, hologram, and a doctor.

The original Trek should be first for initiating the whole damn thing.

    1. ST
    2. NG
    3. VGR
    4. DS9

To each his own I guess.

Voyager was good, even though I wasn't a real fan of the show. To much like a soap opera. My preferences though:

    1.) The Next Generation
    2.) Original Star Trek Movies
    3.) Original Star Trek
    4.) Voyager

    1. DS9
    2. Next Gen
    3. Original
    4. whatever else
    5. voyager(sucked arse)

Almost everyone of Voyager's characters got on my nerves. And the racial diversity seemed a little aritficial, imo.

    you guys are insane.

star trek has sucked ever since rodenbury died. the next generation was good stuff, the last one he actually created. everything since then has been watered down wannabe crap.

how can they kill off kirk by falling off a bridge after being in some parallell universe for about 50 years? rodenbury never would have killed him off like that.
that movie sucked. Leonard nemoy wanted no part of that movie because he knew star trek was going to be garbage from then on.

i dont know who the cheap hacks were who tried to continue on the legacy of star trek but they did a terrible job. i mean DS9 and voyager were so bad it almost makes me sad to admit i liked star trek in the first place.

Star Trek 6: the undiscovered country is the greatest movie ever. and the LAST good star trek movie ever made. as far as im concerned there is nothing after that. im going to forget anything else was ever made so it doesnt ruin it for me.

    voyager...give me a break...good freaking riddance...
