She's here at UM, her alma mater, for CommunicationWeek -- a week of speakers and events sponsored by the Comm school here. As part of the "Careers in Sports Broadcasting," Kolber will be as a guest lecturer. I'm not a communication major, but as a Sport Admin major, we get the opportunity to be a part of such speakers and events (although there's A LOT more we could do (speakers, events, networking, etc) from our perspective). Anyway, there's an informal luncheon Thursday afternoon with about 30 students and I was asked to introduce Ms. Kolber. I guess that's pretty neat. Now I get to do some research and find info about her. Anyone ever introduced a speaker before? Any suggestions? It's an open forum, so does anyone have a question for her? If it wasn't business attire required, I'd wear my Namath jersey, haha.
you should ask her why she looks like a man....jk if you're going to introduce her start off with a brief bio and highlight some of her major accomplishments and state why she is there at your univ and what she'll be talking about it...the key is just to make it concise, clear, and to the point...kissing the person's ass never hurts a little when u introduce them either hope this helps
What I'd ask 1. Is David Aldrides' ass as big as everyone says (trust me on this one). 2. When is Stephen A's 15 minutes gonna be up. 3. Sometimes she wears a wedding band and sometimes she doesn't, Philanderers all over America want to know what the deal is. 4. Would she want her daughter to be a sports broadcaster. 5. Can Pat Summit coach Mens Div 1 basketball.
I think she's the only good female sports reporter/sports anchor/sportscaster/whatever-related-to-sports there is..
I've met her a couple of times and in person she is alot better lookin' than on TV. She is not a 'classic beauty', but she is definitely attractive. She is very nice as well.
Tell her that the NFL show she does with Jaworiski is about the best on television. I think its NFL Edge. She and Michelle Tofoya (sp) are hands down the best women in sports broadcasting.
WWJD: What Would Joe Namath Do? edited to add -- oops, just re-read the OP, you already beat me to the punch Mr. Mooch...
