So if Rudy moves on from Houston, then what for him?

Wouldn't it be absolutely wild if he took over for Don Chaney the year after next? Think about it, after having lackluster, no name Chaney for a while, NY needs a marquee, big name coach. Who better than Rudy?

I think he'll get offers, but it depends on Rudy's condition. If he's healthy I'd hate to see him leave the Rockets Organization, but if he does I'll be rooting for him.

I see Rudy in the same situation as Larry Deirker. Deirker said when he was fired that he probably would not pursue any other jobs in the distant future. I bet you Rudy feels the same way.

I think Rudy will be content to work in the front office and recharge his batteries for at least a few years.

How about Rudy coaching Lebron? Not likely to happen but I think he could do well in Cleveland.

Rudy is staying on board with the Rockets... Already planning a trip next week to Chicago to do some scouting.

I think I read somewhere before that Rudy said he would keep coaching one way or the other, if not Houston then it would be somewhere else. Don't ask me for a link coz I dont have one and it's strictly from my memory. But it was said before he was diagnosised with cancer.
