for the first time EVER. My God that was some wacked ass ****....... I dont think I am going to be able to sleep tonight and I kinda feel like Im gonna puke..... Disturbing is the only word I can use to describe this movie.... Think happy thoughts Drewdog..... Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream, Sunshine and happiness..... And flashes of evil faces as I type here alone in my bedroom.... Im officially freaking out now..........
LOVE THAT MOVIE I saw it for the first time when they re-released it...last year? but I was in the theater completely alone... AWESOME scared the bejesus out of me, so many little things I thought I saw but turning and asking if anyone else saw "that" didn't really help...
The Cinematography for a movie that was filmed in 1979 was incredible. Now I know where Pantera got the name for their second album: Vulgar Display of Power
Eh...it was OK. I saw it for the first time in a theater during the re-release. I was chuckling more than I was scared or frightened. I guess people were more easily scared back in 1979...
you guys didnt see it till its re-release? damn, i saw it when i was little for the first time. it's not scary. my cat had babies the day it got re-released.
1979?? Am I missing something here?? The Exorcist came out, originally, in 1973. Unless y'all are talking about a re-release of this movie.
Whatever dude. You know you were freaking out when you watched it. I didnt think it was jump in your seat scary, more like disturbing and haunting......
it was definitely disturbing...I think two of the most disturbing parts I remember were when she tries to bite off a guy's ****. and the the part where she rams a crucifix into her *blank*. I'm not sure if both of those scenes were in the original, but I know one of them was. And the movie was definitely controversial when it came out.
if you wanna read something really scary, pick up a book called "possessed." the exorcist was based on the diary accounts of a presbyterian minister who was called in to deal with a little boy who had some certain....ummmmm...problems. He realized he wasn't prepared for it so he called in the Catholics, who train in exorcism. I read that book and was freaking out, but couldn't put it down. A really interesting read.
