So how and when did you meet your significant other?

My girlfriend showed up unexpectedly at my apartment with one of my friends in June 2006. We've been pretty much inseparable ever since.

 

Walking into a campus building at TLC I stopped and held the door open for her.
25th anniversary this year.

 

Met her and her roommate outside of a bar. They invited my roommate and I to a party at their house. They gave us the address and we thought it was some kind of joke because we lived two houses away. We weren't even romantic at first, just got along and it eventually turned into something more.

 

At church a couple of days after I arrived in Houston. She couldn't take her eyes off me. 20th anniversary was last year.

first time we actually met up in real life was june 21st, 2006 at ritter's frozen custard on fry rd. in katy. 'twas magical.

 

7th grade-We were best friends. Then he got kicked out of school in 8th grade and moved 35 miles away. (Not too far, but for a couple of 14 year olds, it might as well have been 3500.) We talked every single day and finally realized how how much we loved each other. He moved back so he could go to high school with me. It's been 4 1/2 years.

My future wife and I went to high school together but never met. We both went to Dulles High School in Sugar Land around 1990. Her friends and my friends new each other and we finally went to a bowling alley years later and were introduced. Nine years later we are celebrating our four year anniversary.

Its pretty bazaar how people meet if you think about it. From my experience, you will meet more girls the less you actively look. In other words, girls pick up on guys that are single and “looking”. I can’t understand it but if you play hard to get and are "mysterious", girls generally find that irresistible. And that would be the only thing I know about women. Every thing else is completely puzzling.

I met mine at a swingers party. It was heavenly.

 

Went on a blind date with her sister, then dated her cousin for three years...sent her a smiley text one day and yadda yadda yadda, we're happily married with an 8 month old.

I think women want a connection. They want that attraction, that spark, that indefinable thing that can hit you like an electric shock, from just looking at someone. That's what I wanted, and I'm a guy.

My wife and I connected like that. She had moved in front of my garage apartment, and was bringing in groceries with her roommates. I was sitting under a bush, with my pet owl on my shoulder, digging up worms for him. I called out, "Hi!" She looked around and spotted me under the bush, grinned and said, "Hi!" ...right back at me.


That's all it took.

 

A BBQ my sister was having almost 6 years ago. I noticed her, she noticed me and it grew from there.

So then, I really knew.

12 anniversary this July.

 

I met this wonderful girl at school, she came up to me once and asked some silly question. then I invited her and some friends over for dinner and we hit it off after that.

Now I'm with her bestfriend (or ex bestfriend) and we're going strong

 

I was hyping up peeps scream "VIVA MEXICO!" during the Fiestas Patrias parade 1995 and she was on a float. She was beautiful and I was annoying. She's still beautiful, and I'm NOT .
