Cowboys win baby! Screw the Titans and their crappy defense. Carter comes out with all guns firing. Galloway does a nice job bouncing back. Dallas's defense kicks ass.

And almost just as good, the Packers freakin lose! :)
Colts with their future dynasty crap also go doen. Manning with 3 interceptions last time I checked.

    Woo hoo!

I couldn't believe it, but for probably the first time ever, I was rooting for a Cowboys victory. Glad to see them come through.

I think it was going to a Titans website and seeing a thread about "How long until Houston loses the Texans" that put me over the edge regarding my dislike for the Cowboys vs. my dislike of the Titans.

Plus, the Titans are a divisional opponent, I should dislike them more.

And now I'm finding myself pulling for Buffalo of all teams in their game this afternoon.

The Titans were picked by many people (it seems & not talking about here) to win the AFC this season. Snickers ...yea, right!

Seriously, this goes to show you how much parity exists in the NFL...which can be a good thing and a bad thing.

My dad and I really liked the Cowboys game. QC did pretty well after doing not so well last week. Our O-Line is still not blocking too well for Emmit, but part of that can be credited to Larry Allen going out. :) Once they get it going, our offense should HOPEFULLY be better. On D, we didn't ger 6 sacks, but we did get 2. Also got an INT and had some pretty good coverage when the game counted. I'm still not a big fan of Joey at PR, though.

Hehe...if we beat them, surely the Texans should too, right?

J/k. We got lucky at some parts of the game.

Hell no we didn't. We kicked their ass plain and simple. The defense was putting pressure on McNair most of the time and the interception was bound to happen sooner or later.

Well, yeah MOST of the game, it wasn't luck. Just had SOME lucky things. It got real close near the end, but we held them. One play, the guy said Mason was wide open but didn't get the pass. Also was pretty lucky, maybe prepared, that Lehr stepped in and played well.

Tell me you weren't mad after the punt fake. I was expecting more to come out of it after that. Got that bad feeling.

BTW, I'm debating whether or not QC's pass to JG was luck or skill. :D

    OMFG!!!!

    What Mr. Paige said.

I've always maintained that my favorite team was whomever was playing the cowBOYS, but although I didn't actually root for them to win today.....I probably was rooting for the Titans to lose.

Carter looked infinitely more poised today.....not that it would take much.

How about when McNair slammed into that steamer chest (or whatever the announcers called it)? It must have hurt, but it looked awfully strange because it seemed like a very avoidable thing...I don't know why he did it. Maybe he just stumbled and couldn't stop himself.

If given a choice between rooting for the Cowboys or a team comprised entirely of mimes, I would take the mimes...If given the choice between rooting for the Cowboys and a team comprised entirely of past and present members of boy bands, I'd take the boy bands...Between the Cowboys and a team made up of lobbyists for Big Tobacco, I'll take the smoke-pushers...If I had to choose between the Cowboys and the idiots who came up with Temptation Island, I'll take the Fox (?) idiots...Between the Cowboys and people who think synchronized swimming is a real sport, I'll take the misguided pool junkies...If I had to choose beween rooting for the Cowboys and that team made entirely of convicts in (I think) Necessary Roughness, I'll take...whoops...I'm stuck here, because if it's the Cowboys or a team of convicts, I'm left having to choose between the Cowboys of today vs. those of a few years back, and either way, I'd rather live in Philadelphia...

    LOL!

Join the party, Rocket Fan. I see them all the time where I live and I'm 60 miles away from Nashville. Obviously, the closer you get to Nashville, the worse it is (in seeing those Titans flags).

A lot of my friends can't understand why I dislike the Titans. It's simple...there was no team in Tennessee during my formative years for me to follow. I picked the Broncos around the early '80s. I am not going to abandon them for this new kid on the block.

Do you have any Oilers stuff? If I ever go to a game at Titans Stadium (Adelphia?), I'm breaking out the columbia blue and red.

Did anybody see the FG that sent the Bills-Vikings game into OT? It was something like 58 yards, but the amazing part was it bounced on the crossbeam and then up and over the bar for 3 points at the end of regulation...

OT's not over yet, but it looks like that's gonna end up being the game winner...Nevermind, the Vikings just got the ball back, so maybe not. It was pretty crazy though.

I saw someone with an inaguaral season shirt the other day and it said tennesee but still had the oilers logo on it the first year.. it was disgusting!

manny one day I might end up taking one of those flags and tearing it to pieces! I forgot you live in tennesee too.. we must be the only two ccnet users up here... I wear my houston texans stuff up here... and was getting remarks made to me about how they are no good etc.. but no one said a thing after they won the first game!
