I just don't get it. What does managment see in this guy. Does he have pictures of them that they don't want to get out in the public. How many of these play by play guys around the league get to only do home games. And when there is a big game on the road, he gets to move Bullard out of his spot and do the game?

Does anyone else have a problem with this?

Yes, they should make Bullard the color commentator full time. Also, don't forget Clyde going on vacation in the middle of last season (I believe it was after our 22nd win against the Lakers). I love Clyde but not so much as a color commentator.

    Clyde is unbelievable.

Drexlerisms is one of the reasons you watch Rockets games.

His unintentional humor is 5 times more bearable than the forced corniness of Bullard, although when he wants to Bull can really talk Rockets.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned before this trip that Bullard was out either for vacation or something else so thats why Clyde was hitting the road with Bill.

I remember a month ago, there was that big HBO Boxing Fight here in Houston. On that same night, we played the Bulls in Chicago. Michael Buffer announced to the crowd at the TC that Clyde Drexler was in attendance. :D

I like the My20 games the best because you get Bull and Clyde. It's the best of both worlds with Bill as M.C.

He was already in San Antonio for the George Gervin roast, so he probably was going to go to the game anyway.

I like when Bill starts reaching for some insight on how clyde played in Adleman's motion offense...but clyde just starts talking about how great he was.

:Bill complimenting Von on a drive and dish to Landry cutting:
Bill: "Run that offense!!...Now, Clyde, isn't that what the guards need to do in adleman's offense, isn't that what you would have done?"

Clyde: "Nah, i would have just dunked it...hahaha"

I second that. Sometimes people just need a second chance.

Hah! That's hilarious--and completely true. Clyde is a nice guy, but he still has a superstar ego.

"Practice is for people who need it."

The people that hate Clyde need to just lighten up and not take him seriously. He is really enjoyable when you just laugh with him (or at him).

I don't hate clyde, i'm not a big bullard fan either. I was actually a huge van chancellor when they got rid of calvin. I just don't understand how clyde seems to have so much leverage in this position.

Hey now, they let McGrady do it too. At least Clyde won something.
