So can we all agree that Joe Flacco is an elite QB?

    Dude never gets the respect he deserves. How can you argue with never missing the playoffs in his career?

    He's proving it now. His stats in his last 3 or 4 playoff games are phenomenal and the dude doesn't cower under pressure. And hes still relatively young... Makes me hate schaub that much more.

    He seems to be sort of Eli-ish, which is that he's been elevating his game in the playoffs, but he's still not consistently great in the regular sesaon. His postseason numbers these last few years have been outstanding.

    If Eli isn't considered an elite qb, then Flacco for sure is not.

    Well if Schaub is elite, Flacco is definitely elite. ;)

    Pretty good QB, not elite, and don't think that will change with a super bowl win.

    To be elite, you have to do this over several seasons, ALL season. Flacco is a very good QB, and is making a huge stride. If he can put together a few seasons like this short stretch right here, sure. But that's highly doubtful.

    Flacco has now had 5 straight great playoff games against 4 different opponents, and 6 out of his last 7 against 6 different teams. Matchups can matter, but he seems to be really good in the playoffs against a wide variety of teams.

    I don't think a bad game for Flacco in the Superbowl is going to convince anyone that Schaub is a better option.

    Although, even after the kickass beating we gave baltimore, I wondered why flacco always got a hard time from experts. He goes as the O line goes, and the O-line was struggling big time.

    Wade can masterfully disrupt that ravens oline but can't disrupt the patriots line. It truly is a game of matchups and confidence. I'm excited that there will be smash mouth football for the superbowl and not gimmicky spread 50 receivers wide every chance you get.

    If Kapaernick or flacco don't suffer a ruptured spleen, I will be disappointed*.


    *wasn't serious about that but both defenses will hit hard.

    I would take Rodgers, P. Manning, Brady, RG3, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Newton, Wilson and even Romo over Flacco.
