Anybody in LA interested in meeting up for the Rox Opener against the Pistons. The Yoyo and myself are going to "Yankee Doodles" in Santa Monica. I haven't been there, but the Yoyo swears by it. Game is on Tuesday, starting at 5 pm Pacific time. I'm sure there will be screens dedicated to the election for those of you that are civic minded. Are You In?
there is one at the 3rd street promenade. I saw a few of the playoff games last year, not just the rocket ones and its a nice place to view the games. The got some pool tables and like 2 or 3 projection tvs. I probably show up there around 4-430 and try to save a table/bar area for anyone for the pre game hope to see you guys there i expect it to fill up closer to 7-730 cuz thats when the laker fans will show for the laker game

I will try and go. I am voting after work, so I probably won't be able to show up until the 2nd half. If voting takes too long then I will probably just head home and watch the game on TV.

I went to Yankee Doodles tonight. Did anyone else show up? I asked a couple of guys if they were from Clutch BBS because they were rooting for the Rockets and they thought I was crazy.
There was only the Yoyo and myself that I knew of. We were kind of towards the back. Wasn't much of a turnout. Actually since yoyo and myself were already in before this thread went up, YOU were the turnout. But it's probably because it was a weekday early game on Election night. Next time we should definitely make it either a late, west coast tipoff game or a saturday matchup if we want to meet up. Sorry we missed you. I guess I should have shot you my cell phone number so we could get in touch there.
A weekend or west coast game sounds good for next time. Just post something and I will try and make it. Hopefully we will have a large turn out.
yeah that sounds cool with me, i heard some cheers too but I just thought they were just t-mac fans werent sure if any more bbsers showed up. it was loudest when tracy when back to retrieve the ball and came up and nailed a three. also anyone else think that black girl in the bibby jersey was just plain beautiful?
