wow...its colder in Austin than it is here in Detroit. Today has been an anomaly though as the temps. have been in the low to mid 20's as the high over the last two weeks. Def. a drastic change from the Houston weather I am used too.
Thanks for the heads up. I just woke up my son because he was hoping it would snow. He hasn't come down yet, so he probably went back to sleep.
walked half a mile with shorts and t shirts after staying in the library all day. it was warm earlier... i came out and it was sleeting
I see that there is a very small chance some snow will get mixed in today here in Houston. Fingers crossed!
There was actual accumulation of snow and sleet around my yard and deck this morning here in Austin. It registered 81 yesterday in my car. Zany Texas weather...
I saw sleet. I didn't see any snow. And my car didn't get iced over like a lot of people I saw on the road. Is it slightly weird that I'm disappointed?
Sorry, guys. This weather is my fault. You see, last night, my Kindergarten and 1st grade students were singing "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" and the next thing you know...BAM! Snow. Whoops, my bad.
Man it ain't fair that you (Austin of all places!!!) got snow before those above you did (ie Oklahoma). We were forecasted to have an 80% chance of snow last night...............we no one except the border got even a flurry (thats singular)
This thread is useless w/o pics... btw, I would definitely hit the chick in the pic (only pic I could find with snow theme)... There were snow flakes in Dallas last night, but it didn't stick...Nothing this morning, but it was cold as ballz...
Always hoping for a snow day in Houston. They literally shutdown the city. No one in this city drives worth crap when the roads are icy. Self included.
