Haven't been a fan of Snoop's new music but since I liked his new song "I Wanna Rock", I decided to swing by the CD store and buy the album: Tracklist: 1. Intro 2. I Wanna Rock (produced by Scoop DeVille) 3. 2 Minute Warning (produced by Terrace Martin) 4. 1800 (feat. Lil Jon) (produced by Lil Jon) 5. Different Languages (feat. Jazmine Sullivan) (produced by Teddy Riley and Scoop DeVille, co-produced by PMG) 6. Gangsta Luv (feat. The-Dream) (produced by The-Dream and Tricky) 7. Pronto (feat. Soulja Boy) (produced by B-Don, co-produced by Super Ced) 8. That’s Tha Homie (produced by Danja) 9. Upside Down (feat. Problem & Nipsey Hussle) (produced by Terrace Martin, co-produced by Jason Martin) 10. Secrets (feat. Kokane) (produced by Battlecat) 11. Pimpin Ain’t EZ (feat. R. Kelly) (produced by Nottz) 12. Luv Drunk (feat. The-Dream) (produced by The-Dream and Tricky) 13. Special (feat. Brandy & Pharrell) (produced by Neptunes) IMO the album is off the hook. When I saw the track list and saw the collabos he was working with and I threw up in my mouth a little bit (Soulja Boy, Lil Jon, Brandy?) but they say don't ever judge a books by it's cover. Very worth buying. If you don't want to buy the album, I bolded this songs that made my head bop if you might want to download them or just check em out. Long live Hip Hop!
I've always been a fan of Snoops hook and rapping but this album on first listen is terrible. Wack ass beats and production. Ain't nothing like some early 90's gangsta shiet with the the Dre Production ... Pac, Dogg Pound and Nate Dogg collabos with Snoop's hook and rap.
Yeah but you have to understand that Hip Hop revolutionizes, it took me a while get a custom it since I've been a hip hop fan all my life. Dre has been working on fifties new album, Nate Dogg has MIA for quite a while and Pac's in a casket. ****, if Hip Hop could be the same as it was in the last decade or two, wouldn't we all take that choice? It changes like everything else.
Hip Hop revolutionized to some wack ass garbage. And I will never get accustomed to it. Hip Hop can be the same as a decade or two.... I just pretend the original rappers never went soft, ignore the new bs, play the old skool and recollect. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PZcH7348eiw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PZcH7348eiw&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Trust me, I've been doing that for a while. I've lived of the Illmatic, Doggystyle, 36 Chambers, Ameikkka's Most Wanted and Paid in Full my whole life. Before the BP3, the last Hip Hop album I bought was the Black Album.
Haven't given the album a full listen, but I liked Secrets w/ Kokane. They always do good songs together. I actually liked the new Dogg Pound called That Was Then, This Is Now. That album is really good with a nice g-funk sound. Also, for fans of Slaughterhouse, you should check out Crooked I's Mr. Pigface Weapon Waist. Crooked I has been one of the best since his days on 19th Street Records. Good to see him finally get some nationwide love. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/b5DHcqLt-EY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/b5DHcqLt-EY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nidIes1eHHo&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nidIes1eHHo&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Some young Crooked I gangsta flow:  <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NRRmxvH8uc8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NRRmxvH8uc8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
