SNL - Whats your favorite?

I'm still trying to adjust to these new faces.. they are still learning. I miss the last group.

 

Woody Harrelson, 1992: Be a Better Cowboy, Opera Man, and "Baboon Heart."

 

Also Victoria Jackson, for inventing "Nic-a-ra-wa" and her Tom Arnold/Roseanne Barr bits with Chris Farley. They would just go after each other.

i haven't seen a lot,but my favorites lovers in the hot tub, dateline and the stephon skits

 

I don't know if this counts because, technically the group was formed outside SNL but used SNL to push their music...but my recent favorite would be the Lonely Island videos.

If you have hulu, go was richard pryor's first appearance as the host which was in the first season.

I'm not saying that snl sucks, because I actually like it right now, but richard pryor could make you laugh like none other. These modern skits might have a few funny moments but pryor just killed the entire time he spoke.

Probably the best during 1988-1992. Ever since then they've been hit or miss.

 

True... but every era since has continued to produce some huge names in comedy/entertainment. Sandler, Rock, Spade, Mike Myers gave way to Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Amy Pohler, Seth Myers, Kristin Wiig, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudekis, etc.

SNL is still the preeminent entertainment spring-board to major success.
