Did anybody see the latest Robert Smigel cartoon? OMG, it was freaking high-larious. The commercials inbetween the Saddam and Osama show were the best though, especially the Batman one and the rocks. Who else saw this?
Good stuff in an otherwise lame show in a lame season. Man, I miss Will Ferrell. I've been flipping back and forth between this and the Sac/Dallas game...double OT! Did you hear the Yao Ming mention in the Regis and Kelly skit?
Yeah the Batman piece was great. Watch Batman battle the Jew, and the other Jew, and the little old Jew. Bush was a monkey and Arial Sharon was blowing Cheney. I feel like I may shake a fart loose... SNL Rules!
The last skit is awesome. Guys trying to name gay p*rn movies that are remakes of copying real films for Father's Day. Sweet Home Allen's Butthole Sex Men Lord of the Rims Bend over like Beckham Monsterous Balls Pianist (say it three or four times fast) Holes
What was really hilarious was how much of a bomb the show was. The crowd was so freaking silent that it was painful.
This show is the lowest I've seen in years. I used to be the biggest defender of SNL but now even I can't say anything good about it. Someone told me Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan are leaving after this season. I don't know what they are going to do but they are in need of a major overhaul.
Tracy has a sitcom pilot on NBC that will most likely be picked up. NBC announces their fall schedule tomorrow (monday) but some sources think they will put his show on Tuesday nights at 8/7 c.
The Horatio Sans Elton John impersonation was funny. It's hilarious when he comes on, because Fallon keeps cracking up. Maya Rudolph in that coke commercial at the beginning was great too. Robert Smigel cartoons are always winners. Amy Puehlor also does a great job as Kelly Ripa. She didn't do it last night, but before when I saw her do Avril Lavine(sp?) it was hilarious.
The 70 virgins were the olsen twins "The queen is very much alive, she has beheaded the 7 dwarfs" Smigy is god of comedy.
I have a friend that works at Second City in Chicago where many SNL alums got their start. Apparently, Rachel Dratch comes in a lot, and my friend claims that she's easily the most mis-used actor on that show.
Thank God for Comedy Central. I saw the one where Will was on Weekend Update and he had a voice disorder that caused him to shout everything he said. Hilarious! He carried the show after the 90's cast all left at once. I can't ever remember not laughing at a skit he was in.
