Another mediocore season continues tonight. I had high hopes for last week's ep with Liam Neeson and Modest Mouse. It was ok, but still wasn't very good overall. Music has been horible this season, but U2 should be excellent tonight . I hope Luke Wilson does a good job, maybe his fellow Frat Pack member Will Ferrell will bless us with an awesome cameo*fingers crossed*.
I don't think so. I know he just finished a Mike Judge movie that still doesn't have a title. He stars as a guy who gets frozen and wakes up like 500 years in the future to find that people have gotten stupid.
Weekend update was kinda funny... it's been awhile since SNL made me say "Are they allowed to do that on TV!?"
According to IMDB.Com he has 3 movies in the works. This is the one scheduled to come out soon: The Wendell Baker Story (2004) Directed by Andrew Wilson Luke Wilson Writing credits Luke Wilson Owen Wilson Genre: Comedy / Drama / Romance Plot Outline: In his return to writing and as director, Luke Wilson plays a good-hearted ex-con who gets a job in a retirement hotel. Three elderly residents help him win back his girlfriend (Eva Mendes) as he lends them a hand in fighting hotel corruption. Owen Wilson co-stars as the head nurse.
They just played the 2nd song. I thought they might play again since Bono's guitar was sitting there on the stage, but I don't think they've don 3 songs except for when the musical guest and host are the same.
That was freaking awesome, instead of the usual ending, U2 played I Will Follow. Bono walked out and messed with the cameras, then he got in some lady's lap, and then he went over to the stage with the cast and did the Bono slow dance with Amy Poehler. After the song was over, Bono went one more song and as it cut away, you could hear the start to All Because of You from the new album. Those people who were there were pretty damn lucky to see that in person.
Honestly never been a fan of U2's music, but that was a very respectable performance at the end there... "Saturday Night Live, Live, Live, Liiiive...." said it all.
What was the name of the second song? Amazing. Tonight was also the first time I'd heard Vertigo outside of that commercial. Great single.
The second song is called Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own. It's the song Bono wrote for his dad after he died.
Did you guys notice that Amy Poehler started to cry when Bono hugged and danced with her. Maya Rudolph was jumping up and down like a teenager.
The skit with the Mr. Cool teacher was hilarious. Horatio screwed up and you can see one of the cast members holding in a laugh. They ALREADY stabbed at the Pistons-Pacers brawl in which I thought they could've used it alot better.
