It says on the website that the musical guests will be "Toots and the Maytals (featuring Bootsy Collins, The Roots, Ben Harper and Jack Johnson)"

Can't wait to see how all these guys sound together.

Donald Trump's Chicken wings was AWESOME!

This is the first episode of SNL I've seen in over 10 years, and I'm actually liking it!

The Darrell Hammond/Donald Trump skit is hilarious.

Hammond - Your hair looks just like mine

Trump - Yeah it does, but i'm a janitor that's how its supposed to look

It's been funnier than any of the other SNL's i've seen lately.

Ahhh, THERE'S Bootsy! I liked their 2nd song much better than the first.

Why didn't Bootsy play bass? Does anybody really like him for his singing?

I thought the Trump Chicken Wings was hilarious, but only because of the "dancing chickens." They totally came off like employees being made to humiliate themselves for the boss (Trump).

Biggest Surprise of the Night: Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Saenz lost it during the father-son sketch. They're usually the epitome of professionalism.

    Janet Jackson hosts/sings next weekend.
Tina Fey said she wants to write a "Good Times" skit (as an all-grown up Penny I'm guessing?)

I don't mean to sound rude......

But if you are watching Saturday Night Live..... on a Saturday Night...... and you are not a teenager....... and you are going to the internet during commercials to discuss.....

    You are the quintessential nerd.

Let the thread die, and slowly......slowly.... walk away.

How about if you're married, your wife and kid are sleeping and you got nothing else to do?

What if you taped it and watched it when you got home? I guess that's worse.

Pretty good show overall. The only thing that pissed me off was the father/son skit. Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Saenz pulled their patented "let's pretend like we lose it during the skit" act. Fallon does this in almost every skit he's in. He fakes not being able to control his laughter to try and get cheap laughs. It's so obvious that he's not really laughing, I can't see how anyone 'buys' it. Guys, it was funny when it happened on The Carol Burnett Show because it was REAL.

Anyway, I liked when Trump and his assistants had their band rehearsal. Seeing Trump fake playing the keyboards was hilarious. That was probably my favorite skit of the night. What's her name can really play the drums!

I'm sure you tried, but that was very rude, and so is this...

What if you don't want to be over 30 and still acting like a frat boy?

It seems like SNL is only new every third week. There are plenty of Saturday's to go out. Though, going out and getting plastered isn't my idea of fun.

So I guess I'm the only one that got tired of the same Trump over and over and over again? I kinda chuckled with the monologue stuff of "I'm the greatest man ALIVE!" but then it seemed like every... single... skit... just reiterated that point... over... and over again...

I mean I do GET it... that's what makes Trump, Trump... that's who he is... it just got a little annoying, with some exceptions, such as the "I'm a Janitor, my hair is SUPPOSED to look like this..."

Also noticed this was one of the few SNL's where the host was featured in pretty much every single skit...

I laughed at the wings sketch, but at the time was thinking, "why do they keep doing these?" Then at the end of the sketch it showed where Trump's place was in Jersey in relation to "Derek Jeeter's Taco Hole" and "Al Sharpton's Sushi Palace"(i think that's what it was called), and that had me laughing.

I saw some of the show last night. I could care less if I never saw it again. The ckicken wing thing was just stupid. Not funny. SNL needs to give it up.

    Bravo!

I don't catch the show much anymore, but it seems like every time I am unfortunate to watch a few skits, it's just Fallon pulling his same lame schtick.

    That guy's a douche.

Horatio Sanz's laugh seems real enough. He has that distinct jolly fatboy laugh. Did anyone else catch Fallon groping Horatio's man boob? Donald Trump looked a little perplexed and was silent before Seth Meyer had to set him up for his next line. Funny stuff.

In regards to SNL sucking: agreed. They need to fire the writers. Tina Fey is the first female head writer and she sucks. The weekend news update is awful as always since Colin Quinn left. The best post-Sandler/Farley/Spade cast of Ferrell/Kattan/Hammond have since left.
    Jeers to the SNL writers.

Fey has been head writer since 1999, when the Ferrell Kattan cast was in it's prime. She wrote the Monica Lewinski sketches too. Many of you think that the same writers have been there for a long time though. Everytime a thread comes up about this show, the same people say "fire the writers." Uh, writers from this show get fired every season. They just fired 2 writers this season and replaced them.

What's with pointing out that Tina Fey is the first head female writer then saying she sucks in one sentence. And Hammond is still on the show.
