Pretty good show so far. Ugh...the smart ass couple again. I've never thought they were funny, but they insist on showing them about every other week.
Despite the movies he's been in, that's the first thing I think of when I see him. His Costanza impression was pretty good too. I've read that he's a bit of an arrogant tool in real life, but last night's SNL was pretty good.
I read this awhile back... JACK Black says Jeremy Piven is holding a six-year grudge against him because he beat the "Entourage" star for the role of the record-store geek in "High Fidelity." Black told Howard Stern on Sirius that as he talked to a director at a recent premiere, Piven "stepped in and all of a sudden he was talking to the director and I was standing there facing the back of his head. I was like, 'Whoa, dude! What are you doing? You just cut me off' . . . He turned around and there was this strange, awkward tension." Could he take Piven in a fight? "I don't know, apparently he's a yoga master," Black quipped. A Piven rep insisted, "He loves Jack Black." http://www.nypost.com/seven/11162006/gossip/pagesix/piven_cuts_in_pagesix_.htm But someone said they "made up."
The only thing I don't like about High Fidelity is that Jeremy Piven isn't in there somewhere. The MacGruber scenes were pretty funny.
Speaking of Piven...this movie looks like it might be good: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/202uOuNsgow"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/202uOuNsgow" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I thought it was funny when during the NFL sketch, Piven (who was obviously reading cue-cards) called "Addai"... "Ad-dey-a".
