we need to keep it up in the 2nd half...I still don't have much confidence in our secondary for some reason, but so far so good
Last I checked Romo threw an interception at his own 9. Glad to see we got that possession back and capitalized with a TD! You have to go through the champs my a**
Cowboys defense has been getting better all season, and T.O. and Barber look great, Romo also playing pretty well.
er, what's up with your frownie faces...are you an Eagles fan or something? this is a texas board, most people are Cowboys fans here encouraging start to the 2nd half, we need to work on burying people and finishing. hope the D keeps it up
Dude, I know it says you joined in 2002, but are you new here or something? Most folks on this board are Texans fans and hate on the Cowboys every chance they get...
Yeah, most people know I am the biggest Eagle fan on the board. And most people on here root for the Texans, you know the home team.
ah ok, if you're an longtime Eagles fan then that makes sense and yeah I joined a long time ago, but I didn't read here much for a few years period
oh as for the Texans thing, yeah it's the home team, but it's also about state Texas pride and I would think most people are at least casual fans of the Cowboys or vice versa I'm a longtime diehard Cowboys fan from back in the Tom Landry era, but I still followed and casually cheered for the Oilers and Texans now. I love Texas
Heh, big difference between you and me, then. After the stinking Texans had the audacity to embarrass us in their first game I haven't felt the urge to root for them once.
Dallas looks like they are rolling. I hope the Texans start a new win streak though. I know, I know, Oakland is not exactly an NFL caliber group right now, but still.
haha really, that's cool I just think it's funny how Texans fans keep bringing up that first meaningless 19-10 game, but it doesn't bother me. same kinda thing as when opposing fans throw the upside-down Horns...I know it bothers some fellow UT brethren, but I just think it's funny and harmless plus, I moved to Houston last year so it's hard not to casually follow the Texans
That last part is true. When I lived in Denver when I was in high school I started to root for the Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggs. It's hard to root against the home team that you're hearing about constantly. Heck, I really didn't give a damn about the Mavs until I moved up here to DFW, and they're my second favorite team now. Of course, I still hope they lose by 40 tomorrow...
