I noticed i have like 5 or 6 holes the size a lil bigger then a quarter......I am thinking they are snake holes.....i always see on tv that animal cops or whatever they are call come out to catch snakes and gators in florida.....do we have folks like that in houston? any suggestions? I also have snake repelent.......
Is it possible that you have an adolescent son who's just very, very confused? Very confused, and not very well-supervised while you're away at work?
I think I have the same thing you are talking about. I was thinking it was from frogs. When my sprinklers come on, I will always see a few frogs come out. I think they hide down there during the heat of the day and come out whenever the ground gets wet or at night when it gets cool.
When I was growing up in Houston, we had crawdad holes and frog holes. We also had Houston Toads in Houston, if you can believe it. I guess there is one question that begs to be asked... has the OP ever seen a snake in his backyard?
snakes will inhabit the holes that other animals have dug, or are already there. But very few breeds of snake actually make their own holes.
I guess it also depends on if there is dirt pushed up on the outside of the hole, to indicate something actually dug in there. Here is something I found from someone in Houston. http://www.caes.uga.edu/extension/houston/anr/documents/HoleinYard.pdf If there isn't any sign of an animal, it could just be soil settling.
no....my son is 3....bet u feel really good about yourself making idiotic comments towards kids huh......u sound like a piece of trash...
maybe mole holes? We have them here in Virginia, well we did when summer started not too sure about now?
You mad bro? Not sure how your sarcasm meter is working today, but I think it was meant as a joke...at least, I chuckled a little.
