I don't want to derail the other thread, but I'm curious as to why people start smoking... and I'm only referring to cigs, not mar1juana or anything. At a young age, I'm guessing it's because it's rebellious and cool. But I saw somebody else said they started "after my girlfriend left me" or something like that. I can't quite grasp why that sort of situation would lead somebody to think "I gotta go buy some cigs". No doubt, it's more complicated than that. Anyways... just curious.
I was a child model, my girlfriend was way older than me (16), and all the cool kids were doing it. One of the most stylish decisions I made in my early years, and I often received compliments on how hot I looked + how bad I was. I think as a society, we don't mind good looking people taking a few puffs here and there but it's when the fatties, nerds and mentally weak do it that things get out of control.
After a bad breakup, I spent a lot of time at the pool hall where cigarettes were everywhere. At one point, one of us wasn't leaving until the other one was gone.
Your mother must have told you how cute you were a few too many times because your strangely high opinion of yourself is annoying as hell.
Because I am mentally weak that I need a cigarette to "calm my nerves" which I could otherwise do without. You've been smoking since you were 6?!?!?! Spoiler :grin: I kid. I know right now you're just nerdy.
If you're as "hot" as you try to make yourself appear, you wouldn't need to brag about it on an Internet forum. Seems like an insecurity to me.
