For smokers: What age did you smart smoking? I'm curious because I heard that 90% of smokers started before they were 18. I don't smoke anything harmful such as tobacco but I'm still curious to see if this is true. So clutchfans smokers, is this true for you or not?
Lol Might be a better bet to say 96% of smokers started before they were 16 I'm proud to say that I'm 24 and haven't taken one drag from a cigarette my entire life... I've always hated smoking my entire life but now it's just become a matter of "f**k.. I've made it this long without, why start now"
I started at 27...right after my fiance and I broke up and I was neck deep in law school hell. I am trying to quit now (29).
I've probably have about 50 cigarettes in my life. most of them were clove cigarettes with my wannabe hipster friends at baylor and the random one when I'm out drinking with a smoker/smokers outside. I have never once in my life felt addicted to cigarettes. they're actually kinda nasty but they can give you a good buzz sometimes.
15/16..but been only a social smoker...or in other words, i only smoke when im out drinking with my friends.
Started at 15. Attempted to quit many times (3 times this year alone). Right now, it's about a pack per week to week and a half. I'll go days without one and days with more than a few.
Yes, teen smoker here. yeah, it sucked. But what was worse was watching family members pick up the habit in their 20s. I begged them to not smoke offering me as an example to no avail. It's a b**** of a drug....no doubt.
Never started I guess. I smoked one for the first time at a HS graduation party, when I was drunk. I've had a couple since, but never got the appeal. Started smoking mu‘assel on occasion in college, and still do. That is delicious.
When you boil it down to raw facts, it's one of the worst. I know why it's legal (money), but it shouldn't be when other drugs aren't.
