Smirnoff Music Centre - Dallas

I wanted to know if anyone here has sat in the reserved seating at a concert at the Smirnoff? Specifically, I'm trying to get a feel for the seats in the first few rows off to the far sides in the left and right sections. Are these still good seats? I know their not like being center or just off-center. The action will be at an angle. I have front row tickets to a show but their off to the far side on the aisle. I'm trying to decide if I should stick with these or seek others to move in closer. But, I've never sat in the seats at Smirnoff(only the lawn) and couldn't really gauge anything about these seats. I've been seriously looking for some broad shots(say of the seats/stage from the lawn) of the Smirnoff on the Web and have come up way empty. It's like their hiding the damn thing. I can't really tell if I will still be close to the action or have a limited view or what? I know I will have an angled view to some degree.

I'm thinking I should hold just cause they are front row and the band will probably be much closer than I'm thinking. My understanding is the stage is pretty low which will also help. I also know that I could sell them for a pretty good profit if I want to.

Any opinions from anyone who is more familiar with Smirnoff?

Yeah, I have found a few different diagrams of Smirnoff. On one, the stage extends across all the front sections. On the other, the stage is only as long as the middle section. I guess the latter is the actual true diagram.

Hopefully, I will still have a good angle and it does seem it will be pretty close anyway. I got the seats through an internet pre-sale for regular price so I may have no choice but to go with them unless I want to sell them and use that money to move in closer to the middle.

Do you recall if the stage is low? Do you think I will still have a good view and be pretty close?

I hope your right. I know ticketmaster was saying "limited view" on all the side seats(like mine). But, I think they just mean limited by the angle itself...not necessarily limited to what you can see. I know the further back you are...the better overall perspective you have on the band and the video screen. But, that's what you sacrifice when your up close. At least they won't look like ants.

By the way, I don't think I mentioned the show which is Rush . You can probably imagine how stoked I was when I landed front row but I wasn't sure about the row numbering. Turns out I was on the side but that's still probably pretty damn good from what I've gleamed from feedback from some of you. Front row is very hard to come by without going through a scalper and I got lucky. I can't recall how many times I used to camp out for tickets and even if I was 2nd in line I would still not get first 10 rows. A pair of tickets next to mine went for $584 . Center front row is going for $799 ata minimum on up.

 

Here is a seating chart which actually designates the rows. If this is correct, then I'm in for an awesome time. Woohoo! For some stupid reason, I was thinking the side section rows ran horizontally to the stage. This is not so apparently!
