    More Details On Smashing Pumpkin Arrest

    We now know more about how a former member of the Smashing Pumpkins came to be placed in the Berrien County Jail this week. The Van Buren County Sheriffs Department says that 42 year-old Darcy Wretsky was arrested for drunk diving in South Haven on Tuesday around three in the morning.

    Police found her vehicle crashed in a business parking lot in the 200 block of Broadway. She told officers that she'd lost control and hit a retaining wall. Wretsky also admitted that she'd been drinking and was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated.

    That's when Van Buren deputies realized she had a bench warrant out in Berrien County for failing to appear in court for an animals at large complaint involving some horses that got loose from her property in 2009. Wretsky is now serving six days in jail. She was the original bassist for the 90s alternative rock group, the Smashing Pumpkins. She owns property in South Haven.

    Had to go look up some pictures of her before to see how bad this picture was.
    She was a'ight back in the day . . now . . .not so much.

    Agree. I think the whole "Hollywood image" pressure that REGULAR women talk about and subscribes to shows WIDESPREAD psychoticness.

    Its women acting like cyborgs relying on institutions to change all their body parts. Thats either not self respecting, or its an admittance of being superficial relying on looks as the saving grace rather than other things. The only way its GOOD is simply if the procedure actually works making them look good. (If women got breast implants not bigger but at their same natural breast size, but the breast will never sag, would that be scoffed at? Probably not)

    But when guys keep rewarding the altered appearance with attention and compliments and marriage, as long as its converted into the bottom line aims it will never stop. Need MORE public shaming of it :eek:

    That ties into the shelf life of men's and women's appearances. Women's looks fade faster, which means it'll affect their careers negatively. Just how it is.

    It all depends. I'd party with Joan Jett cuz she's still got it. Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart, not so much. Pamela Anderson, she can still pull it off. Samantha Fox, don't think so.

    Did they bust her in the mouth during the arrest or was it hurt during the crash, or is that some bad cosmetic enhancement?
