The office where I'm doing an internship is separating from a larger parent office and so we will be cut off from the company server. Since we are a very small office with fewer than 20 employees I offered to try and come up with a cheap solution to have a central location to store patient files. Does anyone know of a good website that can guide me through the easiest and cheapest way to set something like this up?
You need an IT person to set this up correctly. You can email me through the board if you would like help with this. There are things such as security, backups, maintainence, etc that should be taken into consideration. While there are people that are IT savvy enough to put something together that will work, the vast majority of the time it is not done correctly and issues down the line can completely cripple a company.
So it sounds like we need to have someone come in a set it up for us. Does anyone have any idea how much something like that might cost?
