I don't know if this deserves a thread, but this has had relatively little attention compared to other things.

Are weakest two position are obvious: center and small forward. Daryl Morey has also expressed his opinion on this. There are so many trade scenarios and rumors flying around about acquiring a center, which I agree is a more important, but has there been any reports in upgrading our small forward spot. We don't bring it up and reporters don't ask this.

I know Terrance Williams has potential and he could have upside, but has not proven anything his entire career. I really wouldn't like the team to stay idle on this, in the hopes of this guy.

    Thanks everyone.

Marcus Morris will be the Rockets future SF. Next season, I see Chase and Marcus splitting the lion share of the minutes at the SF. TWill will get what is let over and possibly some minutes at the SG.

The Rockets intend to play Marcus Morris at the three.

Morris and t will will have their chances to take over budingers job. I think the plan is to see how those 3 play first before making any moves. Maybe we can hope to get iguodala at the trade deadline if things aren't going well by then

It's received little attention, at least when it comes to free agency, because we've got 4 small forwards to look at and evaluate first. Within them we could find our 1-2 punch for years to come, so the team must figure that out first before going a different route.

That does sound reasonable, but we don't know much on how he will perform in the NBA either. We can't say he is the small forward of the future if we haven't seen him play a game yet. And having Chase Budinger starting really isn't ideal.

Granted, I didn't watch Marcus a ton in college, but from what I have seen I really question if he is quick enough for the 3. He has the size, but I guess we will find out how quick he is once the season comes.

Hopefully Twill and Bud. I think Morris is too slow.

He's about as quick as Pierce and Melo, and both are exceptional SF's.

Morey should be looking for any and every upgrade regardless of the spot.

Sure, I agree with that statement, but the weakest spots should be looked at more.

T-will is not going anywhere, in the workout video with Lowry he admits he hasn't played basketball nor hitting the gym in a long time! So much for the dedication or "hunger" to turn things around.. so count him out.

Morris & Bud is not going to cut so upgrade is indeed needed. Probably not going to happen as not many players are available.

I'm pretty sure t will was talking about not being in the rockets gym. He's been hitting the gym, just not the usual one

You didn't listen to the whole interview. He said he hasn't been in the Rockets' gym for a long time. He said he has been in other gyms when asked for clarification.

You might be right but ...

I want to see Morris play the 3 before passing judgement on him.
