As noted from the site below:

The question becomes will he end up being the leading rookie rusher in the NFL this season?...2 more games left and he seems spirited to do so and surpass Chris Johnson.

Something else for a 3rd round undersized RB pick...

what a great season this kid is having. congratulations to him. definately something positive to take away from this season.

i really hope he can repeat this performance next year.

i think i'm finally over the bitter taste of the domanick davis/williams situation.

I drafted him in the fantasy league I'm in. One of the few Texans I've been rooting for this year but the kid is definitely talented.

He is awesome, love that guy. I still think he needs help in the backfield.
any 6'7 270 lb running back available in the draft? We can have a tandem and give them a cheesy nickname. =)

I picked him up off the wire in week 3. He's been the only consistent scoring I've had all season...

A friend of mine who got to see Slaton play in college several times had been talking about what a good NFL back he would become for quite a long time. The guy is a Ravens fan and he was mad as hell when we picked him up in the third round.

I enjoy reminding him what a great pick Slaton has proven to be.

The kid is the real deal. I'd still like to see some help for him in the backfield, but there isn't a pressing need. I'm sure that they'll be able to find another treasure in later rounds.

I've been pretty lucky. Playing in the Superbowl this weekend. Started the year with Westbrook, Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall, Slaton... Now have Stephen Jackson, Giants D, Tony Scheffler, and Carlson(TE from Seattle). Also have Thigpen as my QB (my weakest position the entire year).

J Train can run for a yard or two when you really need it...and he has really good hands for pass catching to boot.

He'd be worth a look in the 3rd or 4th round.

Are you guys referring to Javorsky Lane? that tub-o has zero chance at playing in the NFL.

I saw him play a ton in college too and thought the opposite. He played in a perfect system for himself and Pat White in West Virginia. That spread offense thinned the middle out so much to where he and Pat White would just wreck teams.

But he has proved me wrong and shown that he knows how to run though the middle and fight for yards along with a good ability to make decisions about when to cut and make a move.

Glad to see him doing so well.
