Hey folks, I'm currently living down here in campeche on business and am having trouble with some of the slang-

What does "Que Bistec" mean? I understand the literal translation, but everytime I ask one of the mexicans what it means I get a different explaination.

    Someone help out a gringo?

It can mean different things in different regions, with different peeps down there... I hadn't heard it recently, but you can apply it as "Dayumn!!!!!!" or "Oh, snap!", which also can be applied to different situations.

I believe you can use it instead of:
    "How silly!"
    "How funny!"
    "How stupid!"
"This guy is a dumb mother trucker."

Which translations have you gotten?

Dude, it's a big joke and Swoly's in on it. It means 'What same boy?' or 'where can I find the homosexual prostitutes around here'?

I used to work with some latino guys who convinced our always very stoned boss, named Mike (Michael), that 'Maricone' was his name in Spanish. They would yell at him across the parking lot or restaurant and he would wave.

let me give you a hint, be a little inventive with the literal translation that you said you know.

The literal translation of Bistec means a steak, right. Also known as a tenderloin...or tender loin...or a piece of meat. Now think of other uses of the phrase "a loin" or "a piece of meat." Finally, put Que in front of it, and what do you get?
