yo im readin the Slam magazine with Shaq on the front and im lookin through it and see the most funniest article on the bottom of the page: "0's UP, PiP's DOWN" 0-for-3 in the fourth quarter. Not a single shot from the floor as his team missed 13 in a row. Ten shot attempts in the biggest game of his basketball life. Scottie Pippen not only struck out, he went down looking. After all the arguments over wheather Schottie could be like Mike, this made it look kida ridicoulous. You think Mike would have taken 10shots in a do-or-die game? Or attemted just 4 free throws? Would he have let three misses go by without demanding the ball ? Would he have said, "Theres more to feel proud about than there is to be down about" afterwards? heck would he have ever-especially with a team Heproclaimed more talented than any he had ever played on-lost? We just hope Charles Barkley was watching. I really don't like defending Pippen here, but these MJ comparisons writers keep making are just beyond ridiculous. Pippen is an organiser...MJ was a scorer. It's just the biggest pile of s$it the way everyone makes out like "Oh, MJ would have taken more shots" They are COMPLETELY different players. I saw that game seven and the facts are that Portland kept on going inside to Wallace as he had the biggest mismatch. When it came back out a few times, whoever was left with the shot was throwing it up. Regardless, they went to Sheed as they should have...that's the job of the floor organiser, to get it to the right player. In this case, it was Wallace. Pippen hit the game winner in the final game v Utah. I am sure of he'd missed that three,writers like this one would have said "he went for the glory...when he should have set it up" etc etc. In other words, he can't win. Pippen is not my favourite player by a long way. However, he has been an excellent player who has had a great career. I really would like to see one intelligently written article that drops all the MJ crap once in a while... ------------------
