Ok, so it just dawned on me that Woman's day....oops, I mean Valentine's day....occurs during the NBA All Star Game festivities, mainly the dunk contest. So come clean...who else has to attend to V-Day needs and will be missing the festivities? More importantly, what schemes have y'all come up with to stay up to date on who got what dunk score, etc. Or will everyone try to watch their DVR'd activities Sunday morning?
i will usually DVR the all star saturday anyway since it has a lot of worthless stuff i want to skip over. i can prob watch the entire thing in under an hour when live would take like 4 hours..
Luckily, my gf is a big Joel McHale fan (the host of The Soup) and he's at Verizon Wireless Theater on Sunday, so we're going to see that and she's cool with making that our Valentine's Day instead. So on Saturday, we're actually going to go watch the All-Star Saturday Night stuff at a theater, presented in 3D. It's not that I want to see the events all that badly, but I've been meaning to see some sports in 3D for a while now and this seemed like a fun opportunity. http://www.cinedigm.com/
I got lucky cause the GF is a huge basketball fan, and we're actually going to the cindedigm thing too... Only problem is I don't know what time the things will end, so dinner before or after?? And I really need to make reservations...
haha i won't be having this problem... Singles awareness day ftw! Brb while i go draw on the corner of that sandlot.
i cried when i found out theyre both on the same day and am now trying to plan a scheme where we go to bw3 or some sports bar ....if only
She's out of town on that day, driving across the country with her mom. So, I will be free to watch the festivities.
