    BIASED!!!!

I don't think that first dunk of Howard was better and more difficult than Rudy Fernandez first and second dunk. Howard is making this competition like WWF.

Nate Robinson is an idiot too. I can do that second dunk anytime. He should have gotten 0 for that.

You wanted to see Rudy potentially embarrass himself even more?

He's a good run and jump athlete but he's as explosive off two feet as the other dunkers.

I was suprised by Rudy's athletism. Howard would have won the contest if he raised the rim higher and if he hanged on after the dunk and raised his legs to empahisize how high he got up. He made it look too easy.

I would NEVER give a 10 in a dunk contest imo. The whole thing is just a joke

Dude, Fernandez took like 40 attempts and ran out of time to get that dumb off the back of the glass dunk down.

The judges ****ed up. They could have been a little more subtle about giving Dwight a ticket to the finals just to see what antics he had in store.

They need more than 4 dunkers. Back in the day it was like 8 players dunking.

Get rid of all that other garbage that is taking up the time. Most people really only want to see the 3 pt. contest and dunk contest. Nobody cares about old players and WNBA players shooting.

^ They need to bring the contest up to 8 or 10 and edit the first round then go live for the second round.

I liked the shooting stars thing... especially since Detroit beat both the Spurs the Lakers and the Suns ;)

I think Howard mistimed his dunks. He should have save his 12 footer for the end.

Twelve feet is the world record right now -- that wasn't close.

I think Dwight should have won. He did some good dunks, they were just overshadowed by the ridiculously high scores he got and how easy he made them look.

Rudy should have gotten higher scores but he wasn't the best. He would have gotten higher scores if people knew who Fernando Martin was and if he finished his dunks on the first try. They weren't great, anyway...just better than everyone other than Dwight.

IMO it should have been Dwight vs. Rudy in the finals, with Dwight winning.

Nate's dunks weren't impressive (other than he's short). He already won one dunk contest for being a short guy who can dunk.

Dwight set the bar high last year. Other than the 12 ft dunk, Dwight wasn't that impressive. Now I know why VC didn't defend his title. You can't repeat greatness in this contest.

I laughed when Kenny said Nate won cause he dunked on Dwight. No, Nate won cause NBA fans didn't buy into the BJ the judges and TNT were giving Dwight all night. I think there was a backlash vote.

The dunk contest gotta get back to actual good dunking. Not all these cute lil props these players keep coming up with. I guess at this point it's hard to do great dunks because they have been done before.

    Off topic

But did anybody notice how awkward it was when Rudy Fernandez brought out the Fernando Martin jersey, and then Kenny and Reggie said who is that Ricky Martin, and some other names, then Ernie notifies them that it is Fernando Martin who used to play with the Blazers and died in a car accident..

A little showmanship and presentation doesn't hurt.

if Dwight didn't do that free throw line for his last dunk, he would have tied or won.

i beg to differ.. on the first part of this statement.. nothing wrong with NBA legends taking part of the festivities.. pending they're not older than 50.. and in decent shape.. like Clyde or Jordan..
