Jason Richards dunk alone should of won the contest for him. And yeah Chris Anderson got screwed, I think it was kenny smith who suggested that the judges should be people that actually know how to dunk and do all that stuff.

Anderson had a really great off the backboard reverse dunk, and the judges gave him a 42. Then, Fred Jones does a pretty basic dunk and gets a 50. Anderson had the best dunk of the first round of dunks, yet he had the lowest score. After that, he didnt have a chance to make the 2nd round.

chris anderson´s dunk was real sick...

i´m pretty sure the "judges" didn´t want to let it happen, that a white dude wins this contest... sad but true

That and he is 6'10" and the big guys usually don't fare too well in these contests. I can't remember the last big man that won one. Kemp came close. Was it Kenny Walker?

Larry Nance was the last big man to win it from what I recall. I think that was the one where he dunked 2 balls. Was Kenny Walker that tall? I thought he was about 6'8" or something.

Yeah, Kenny Walker was 6'8", and couldn't do anything else. He won that in Houston, right?

Shawn Kemp was pretty good, but his best year, he lost to the Dee Brown pump up your Reeboks and Cover your Eyes dunk.

Right, except a white dude from the clips won it a couple of years ago. It's just because dudes that large doesn't get the respects for their dunks and it doesn't seem that impressive. I saw the dunk, it was a 45, but definitely no the best dunk of the first round. And Fred Jones dunk wasn't "basic", did you see the elevation, where he jumped from and the form when he dunked it? It was nice. Not 50, but I'd rate it higher than Anderson.
