    Skip,

You da man. with your better than 3:1 Assist:TO ratio, you're even more efficient than Steve Nash. I have no doubts if Rafe was in Phoenix, he would be putting up assist numbers comparable to Nash with a lower TO ratio.

how did u do that heart, and can u give me one.

We need to print out these appreciation threads and send them to the player or coach. We also need to make appreciation threads for various posters, such as myself.

    Skip,

You got the quickest fast break! You never stop running! You pass the ball back to Yao after he passes out to you. Yao and his 20+ pt games love you too! You make the perfect pass to McGrady. You got crazy shots that go in and can shoot the 3. I heart Skip!

Since Yao's come back, Skip is averaging about 8.5 ast.

He's very good at penetrating and finishing with that teardrop floater, so if he can figure out how to balance distributing the ball and looking for his own shot, then we've got a veritable beast on our hands.

All it took for me was watching him in about 3 preseason games and I knew he would be a great fit at PG for this team. Great passer, great ballhandler, he can penetrate and finish, and doesn't shoot too much.

Honestly, I think he's nearly on the same talent level as Steve Francis (not a knock on Steve, btw). Skip is just more of a passer and a better decision maker at PG. The only downside is that his perimiter shot is a little inconsistent, but when that is on he is the perfect PG for this team.

awesome. this thread is definitely long overdue. i have skip on my fantasy team as well and the numbers don't lie! anyone who believed mike james was a better option needs to own up in this thread. skip is exactly what we needed at the point and once his shot comes back, he'll be pretty much complete. i love those tear drops!

I was kind of indifferent towards him until the 610 interview yesterday. (He just seemed kind of coo-coo to me when I watched him play). I really like him now though. Go Rockets!

He said he wants to end his career in Houston. If he keeps playing like he is---I won't argue!!!! Actually he messed up and said Toronto...but he corrected himself :D

He had a very loooooooong adjustment period and is just now starting to look comfortable. No doubt he has good "handles" and is a better passer than the Rocket's have been used to. I think he has improved Ming's game some. I wish he had a better shot and I liked James' fire, but he is growing on me. So, Skip, I kinda like you as a player. You seem like a very nice person from your interviews and I wish you the best.

when you watch a player like skip, and mike james as well since the two will be forever linked, you wonder how they flew under the radar so long.

Skip is my favorite future all-star. :D

And no, I'm not joking. This guy is an all star point guard waiting to happen. He is better than Tony Parker and if he keeps playing like this for another year, he needs to be in next year's all star game. I just love watching him play -- he makes some incredible passes.
