Is it different sizes for a replica or authentic? My Bill Russell throwback is a size 56 which is 3XL and jersey sizes decrease/increase in sizes by 2. So a size 48 would be a medium.
It's a Champion, if that matters. Like the old ones. I have a size 40 from way back that is really, really small on me now so I figure 48 would fit right, but I don't know if 48 is way longer than 44 or just wider. I read somewhere it's 22" from armpit to armpit and 32" from collar to end. The 32" seems really long.
I'm wearing my authentic Andre Miller jersey right now. It's a size 48. I'm 6'6" and it goes a good 6-8 inches past my waist.
Yeah, but that's an authentic. The real ones are going to be longer I think? I'm wanting this old replica. How long is the Miller jersey?
the current replicas (reebok) run very large.... i have an XL Anthony that is nearly too big now that i have lost weight... seems more like the old 52
This is an old Champion replica. Like from 10 years ago. Anyone have a size 48 or 44 from back then and can measure it?
Tozai, i have Tim Hardaway and Larry Bird jerseys from the early 90's. they're both replicas made by Champion, size 48. they're both about 32 inches from top (top shoulder collars) to bottom and about 21 inches from armpit to armpit. i just measured it. by the way, i'm 5'11 and 175 and the jersey still goes about 8-9 inches past my waist, but the fit around the waist is perfect. so like another poster stated, it seems as they run kinda long, but it looks 'right.' i think they just proportion it to go long. hope that helps.
Thank you very much killtaker Kam's Asian right...probably shouldn't be talking if what they say is true...
