pretty cool survey of the player's opinions. i like seeing babe ruth on there as the greatest living player. its pretty odd to see albert pujols on the list of players getting the most out of the least talent. come on the guy is a bad ass. i dunno why 1% of the major league players would say albert pujols when they think of that.

I thought it was cool that the Rocket was the pitcher most people wanted as their teammate. Go Yanks!

    SM,
I think Rocket got the vast majority of his votes from other pitchers.

What I found ironic was that Larry Bowa portrayed Scott Rolen as moody, quiet, not a leader etc,yet Rolen was in the top 10 in players that other players wanted as a teamate, while Bowa was,by far,the "worst" manager. I was also incredulous at the notion that Bonds+AROD were the top 2 in the Greatest Living Player category over W Mays,S Musial etc. Heck, how could R Alomar get more votes than say,M McGwire,M Schmidt ect???!!!

One of the first things I saw on this survey was under greatest living player: Babe Ruth 1.5%.

    Interesting survey, nonetheless.

One thing I noticed is that Esteban Loaiza got some votes for a player who got the least from their talent, dude is a candadite to start the All Star game. What more do they expect?

I always wondered why MLB expanded to Tampa and Miami without new stadiums. Tropicana Field should have the best visitor's clubhouse to make up for the crappy stadium.

I went by it as well, and you are correct. I kept circling to see if I could get a better perspective, but the damn thing just looks crooked!

Ive never seen Tropicana from the outside but inside I think it looks pretty nice. Most stadiums that are 3/4's empty will look bad but when that thing is full its pretty nice
