Wow, what a hater.

First of all Orlando only really sucked in the last season he was there.

What about the times he got Orlando in the playoffs and nearly defeated the Pistons by himself?

 

What about Kobe when Shaq left. Was he a bad player because he could'nt elevate the lakers?

 

I think the only difference is Tmac has no ring. When the ring comes,he is.

 

You know, my roommate had T-Mac on his fantasy team back in that crap season. We'd watch some nationally televised Magic games and I'd make fun of them for being such a crap team. From the small sample of games that we saw, I kept telling my roommate that T-Mac would be averaging 10 dimes if it wasn't for his crappy team. Seriously, T-Mac set up soooo many players for easy shots but his teammates were just teh suck. There's only so much one can do.

 

Stupid Kenny, and he himself at his prime is not even remotely close to 30% of TMac.

 

I know you are gonna hate me for hating on a former Rocket Tinman, but I think Kenny Smith is the worst player in Rockets history! I hate Kenny the player AND Kenny the person. I've never liked Kenny Smith. I dont care that he scored 8 threes in a playoffs game, he SUCKED. he was way overrated and I hated his convict-looking a$$

I am not hating on Kenny because of his comments on Tmac, he is obviously a die-hard Rockets hater, I just never liked the guy. worst anal-yst ever! even worse than Barkley. actually, I would take Barkley over Kenny any day of the week! Kenny is a dumba$$, he doesn't know **** about basketball. he doesn't watch NBA games, he just throws in some random B.S and acts like he knows what he is doing. what a r****d! "he isn't a great player, he didn't make people around him better", wtf? why dont u talk about Kobe? Kenny thinks Kobe is god, he loves Kobe. does Kobe makes the people around him better? hell no.

Kenny jumped off the Rockets bandwagon after we lost in the playoffs against Dallas. did y'all see him after game 2? he was like "Tmac is great, Tmac is the best player in history" or something like that. he almost said "Tmac is my grandpa". Barkley was on the bandwagon way before Kenny. he jumped on the bandwagon when we went on the streak before the all-star break in 04-05, he actually predicted that Tmac will be MVP of the Denver Allstar game. both of them jumped off when we lost to Dallas. freakin r****ds!

I usually defend ex-Rockets (including MadMax, remember Tinman? ) but I dont think Barkley and Kenny are considered ex-Rockets. it's shameful to know that a guy who rode Hakeem to win 2 championships turn into a hater like Kenny. just unfortunate!

Kenny Smith SUCKED!! he was an overrated Rafer Alston! actually, Rafer is way better than Kenny, at least he can drive to the basket and has some AND1 moves.

 

back to the Gerald Green thing, I've seen the guy play a couple of times, and I dont know how in hell he relates to a young Tmac . are they crazy? I've heard this comparison so many times but I just dont get it, how are they similar? what does Green have that reminds Mr. D***head Kenny Smith of Tmac?

I'm starting to think Kenny Smith really has something against the Rockets. He never misses an opportunity to bash our team or our players. Other things he has said this season include calling us a borderline playoff team, saying Yao is not as good as Shaq (the famous "Yao hasn't made T-Mac better" argument), now hating on T-Mac. I don't know what his deal is. He used to be the only reason I liked watching the TNT crew. Ugh.

 

I think Kenny always felt underappreciated in Houston, and that one incident where Rudy started Sam in the 3rd quarter without telling Kenny crystallized his contempt for Houston, cause he knew that everybody else wanted Sam to start.

 

Who is this Kenny Smith guy? Has he done anything in the NBA? I tried looking him on the net, and could only find that he was Hakeem's ball boy. If anyone else has more info, please let me know!

Where did he get the nickname "The Jet"??? I know for sure everyone called him Kenny Smith when he played with the Rockets.
