Anyone who listens to FCP (full court press) knows that Mike James is a regular.
Since Kenny is taking more days off FCP, they've been having random NBA players filling in. Dee Brown, BJ Armstrong and today we have Ric Mahorn.

    Highlights:
Mike James on the success of the Rockets:
MJ kept saying it was all "POSITIVE ENERGY". Everybody on the club gets along and likes each other

    Mike James on being back:
Likes being back cause he has a wife and a house here and "I KNOW THE STREETS"

    on Ricky A:
Says he loves watching Ricky A teams play and now is really happy to be on one of them. Ricky A "just lets us play and have fun".

    on Bonzi:
says Bonzi is playing awesome and has a good relationship with Ricky A.

    on Yao:
Awesome. Says that when he was first in the league he was timid and not use to being a star. Now that he's better at being a "STAR", he'll "CURSE YOU OUT WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG! NO TRANSLATOR , IN ENGLISH!"
    :)
Ric Mahorn asks MJ when they are going to put a headband on Yao's head and MJ says Yao's head is too big and there's no headband that size. Also says "Could you imagine MY HEAD on YAO's BODY??!!" That causes Mahorn to laugh.

    on Scola:
Needs time to get use to the NBA. Knows that Scola was the "MVP" in his league

    on Deke:
Deke's slam caused MJ to call him "AIR DEKE"

    on Steve Novak:
Nobody knows, but he has a "DIRK NOWITSKI JUMP SHOT"

    on Steve:
says its tough for Steve, but MJ thinks he's still "THE FRANCHISE" and the "SAME PLAYER THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIS ENTIRE CAREER"

    on Aaron Brooks:
says he's going to be a great player

on the Rockets win vs the Spurs:
"We put the league on Notice"

on the loss to the Mavs:
"We beat ourselves. but its just water under the bridge now"

positive attitude. Can come off as a little cocky at times. It's nice to hear that everyone's getting along and have fun.

Have fun? That would never happen when JVG was here!

i love mike james attitude and swagger exactly what the team needs. i'll live with his occasional brain farts and ball hogs because the positives he brings outweigh the bad.

plus he looks like he is gonna rip someone's freaking heart out whenever he steps out on the court.

as my roommate said: "damn mike james looks like he just got outta jail that boy is gonna kill someone!"

like jvg said we need some pitbulls around yao and mac.

I like all his comments except on Steve. He is still the franchise? I don't know what he meant by this.

like if you asked if Dream was still a good player, Mike James would say "HE'S STILL THE DREAM"

Seems the only player MJ does not have comment on is Rafer.

I don't think I get you. Dream is already history, Steve is struggling to get PT and he called him the Franchise. Why was he called the franchise back then?

    TeamUSA,
Dream is a nickname for Hakeem
Franchise is a nickname for Steve

maybe I'm using a bad example.

    History:
When Steve came to the Rockets, he was expected to the be face of the Franchise (best player on the team). so they called him Stevie Franchise. And Franchise sounds like Francis.

Mikes James slang meant Steve is still good as he was before. ie living up to his nickname

think of it ask if someone asked a Nugget player if they think Iverson is still good, they would say "He's still the ANSWER!"
