Full Court Press on Sirius today interviewed Bullard:
Ian Eagle and Dee Brown asked him some great questions and the Bull answered like the Bull would
    [IMG]
On the Rockets players that haven't gotten any PT:
Kirk Snyder: " A great NBA player who would get more time on any other team "
Aaron Brooks " A sensational rookie"
Steve Francis "Steve WAS a good player on the Rockets"

    On Yao:
said the high post game will help Yao stay "healthy" so he can have enough gas for the playoffs. Bull says Yao should shoot more since he has "great range"

    On Tmac:
says Tmac's back is a worry, but if he stays healthy this team will get past the 1st round for Tmac's first time. Rick Adelman has confidence in him.

On being a commentator and losing to Dee Brown:
said he's glad to be a Rockets commentator and be home. Said the competition was hard and that the best part for Dee and Bull was getting to hang out with the other dudes like Daryl Dawkins

On commentating on this year vs last year:
says its more fun commentating in a offensive game than a 70- 74 defensive struggle

    On himself:
    says he's in half-court shape!

    On HAKEEM HELPING YAO:
Says JVG WOULD NOT LET HAKEEM HELP YAO. Dream WANTED to help him! But Ricky A gave Dream the Green Light to help Yao. Says Dream shows Yao all the Jack Sikma moves.

    On the Rockets schedule:
says this month is tough, with the Spurs/Mavs/Suns.

well this answers the question why it took so long for Dream to help Yao out.

for Sirius listeners, they repeat today's show at 5pm (central)- 7pm

I suppose Ewin makes a great teacher?

Oakfor, JO, and others are dying just to stand next to Dream. And Dream offerred himself to Yao, and we didnt let him ...

Even if he isnt a great teacher, you gotta respect the legend.

Easy to jump to conclusions here -- I'm sure there's more to the story than we know. It is definitely surprising to hear this though, and not in a good way.

many of you forget that even Yao said Dream taught him nothing. It was mainly a publicity stunt. Dream's game was too fluid and fast and completely different from Yao's.

As far as JVG's insistence on it being his way with TT teaching Yao. Sure seems to me like it was working out pretty well.

If you have remained a JVG (aka Gargamel) fan despite the Rockets performance in the playoffs, can that trend continue? I can't understand why he wouldn't want Yao to learn directly from the G.O.A.T. Sure Ewing was one of the best at the 5 but, what harm could have come from Yao training with dream? Its time for me to reconsider my stance on Gargamel.

I'm guessing Jeff thought it was a stupid publicity stunt that would be a waste of Yao's time, time he could spend working with Thibideau or watching tape or something. Well, it WAS a publicity stunt, but it was an AWESOME PUBLICITY STUNT! There isn't a single one of us who didn't lust after the sight of Hakeem and Yao on the court working out together. I could have told you that Hakeem couldn't actually teach Yao much, especially since Yao is pretty much fully developed at this point anyway. I was just a nice treat for the the fans and I'm glad Yao and Hakeem were kind enough to do it for us.

Obviously JVG never saw it that way... or just didn't care. I don't really see how he could have had the power to "prevent" it from happening, though. Huh.
