Hey, anyone that gives Canada and Canucks some props is alright in my book. Since the Grizz are my second fav team, I too checked that site out, and while clutchcity is uncomparable, its not bad a site at all. Btw, the site design is not a rip-off of Clutch's, the BBS is exactly the same, but I've seen many sites use the same type of BBS as this one. There has been no help from Clutch there as its a Grizz fan creation. I think the site is descent, since the guy designing it has only been doing it for 3 months. AS for the BBS it is run by prepackaged software made by Infopop.

Pickledpunk is right-- UBB is one of the most common BBS software packages out there. Their site owes nothing at all to clutchcity.net in terms of design-- it's completely different.
To Rocketspimp: Since our board was invaded yesterday with Francis talk. Here is my response on Francis and what I think of him. I guess the issue with Francis is a bit different here in Vancouver. I don't think there is anyone in Vancouver who will say he is a bad player. The issues is that he didn't handle his buisness very well (maybe he did as he got out) and that he angered the fans because he made some pretty ignorant comments about the city. I was one of those people who would have rather moved Bibby, and opened up the PG position for Francis to play in, as I felt with his athletism he would develop into a better on the ball defender. At this point it is moot because Francis is a Rocket and Bibby is a Grizz. What we see from both players is not what we will see 5 years down the road as they are still basically rookies (BTW Bibby is younger than Francis). Bibby will probably develop into the better playmaker and shooter while Francis will be the better scorer and game closer. Now with Swift, Rahim & Dickerson to build around I think Bibby is the better fit for us. I also believe Bibby will resign with the Grizz and Francis would have pulled the Marburry. While I hate comparing current players to older ones I see Bibby's career being like Mark Jackson's or John Stockston's (steady leader who runs a team effectively and racks up the assists) while Francis will be more like Kevin Johnson's or Stephon Marburry's (athletic scorers who probably should pass a bit more). IMO I think Francis will end becoming one of the top 10 players in the league in a couple of years. Give him 2 more full seasons and his 2 major flaws will have disappeared (turnovers & defense). I believe it is vital to have a dominant ballhandler in today's game as the refs like to swallow their whistle at the end of games and post players just don't get the calls (reason why guys like Iverson, Carter, Bryant are all great). Francis has that ability and it will carry the Rockets a long way. On an individual basis I think the Grizzlies might have better players than the Rockets but Stu Jackson didn't draft players that could complement one another. Rudy on the otherhand is the master of adjusting to take advantage of his teams strengths. While I don't see the Rockets in the playoffs next year (I noticed many on this board think they will be as high as the #4 seed) I think a backcourt of Francis and Mobley will be dominant. PPunk -while I might only be a junior member here, I thought it was funny that all the Rocket posters were laughing at how they received the title og Grizz Fan
