No! Oh my. I couldn't believe it either. I really adored her...this is so terrible...her, the 8 others... my prayers for them and their families. This is still so shocking.
Aayliah was one of my favorite hip hopsters...even with the stuff that I didnt like a whole lot, it wasnt because it was the same tired stuff like every other artist was putting out...She was always coming out with different styles from CD to CD. RIP.
I was listening to the 740 news thing, they spent about 2 minutes on poweball, moved on to something like weather, and then wham they completely floor me by simply saying "Aaliyah is dead". I was never a fan or anything but that caught me off guard, not as important as powerball!?
