    Lol, thats ridiculous.

If the Texans were that concerned with picking up a backup QB with their first round pick, then it would mean that we have probowlers at every other position on the field.

Only way I see this happening is if Stafford and Curry go #1 and #2.

I would love to move up for Curry, wonder what we could package with #15 to go up that far, two thirds, this year and next?

According to the draft slot scale:

    #1, 3000 points
    #2, 2600 points
    #3, 2200 points
    #4, 1800 points
    #5, 1700 points

He's projected to go at one of those slots. The Texans would have to give up a lot to move up that far. I doubt he'll fall to #5. If he did, then would have to give up #15, #47, and #79 to come close.

We have dire needs at DE, DB, OLB, and RB. I wouldn't want to waste my picks on him, even though he's a beast. Plus, with the house cleaning their doing, I can't wait to see who they pick in the draft and FA to compliment the weapons we have already.

As great as Curry is, we'd need to give up potential starters at DE, DB, and DT in order to get him.

    Thats too much.

You know, after reading all the entries, It looks like he actually did his homework on every team but the Texans.

Its like he threw a dart at the wall and wrote about whatever it hit on the wall.

IDK, I don't think Stafford is anywhere near KC's radar. Curry though, I'm worried about that guy now, since the new Kansas City regime is switching to a 3-4 and Curry struggled big time in a 3-4 set.

I wouldn't mind seeing Orakpo in a KC uni.....actually, yes I would. But I def. wouldn't take him @ #3. He has Tamba Hali written all over him.

Haha, come on, I wasn't talking about you. :) There's no doubt it was a legitimate question/debate at the time. I was just referring to a couple of people who essentially made me out to be a complete homer for even suggesting that Schaub would be better. (Ironically, one of them was even celebrating his being right after Week 2 of the season... funny how that turned out. :p)

I always wonder if fans of other NFL teams find their teams constantly paired with ridiculous mock draft picks by individuals who don't seem to recognize the issues their team has.

Most I've seen kept having us take a CB in the first, when we desperately need a safety and now a QB just because we are losing our back up. I don't know if they just think our team is sure to trade down and are throwing out dummy picks or if they are just very little knowledge about certain teams and are just placing the high end speculated draft picks in probable positions.
