    Let's assume Rockets trade # 15 + KT

    1) To which team/draft position
    2) For which player or rights to player(s)?

I would trade #15 and KT and Mobley to Memphis for Pau Gasol and next years 1st round pick so we just switch picks next year instead of giving them ours. Then I would trade Glen Rice for anywhere form #16 to #29 in this years draft. OUr Team would be:

    C-Yao Ming
    PF-Pau Gasol
    SF-Eddie Griffin
    SG-Oscar Torres
    PG-Steve Francis

    C-Kelvin Cato
    PF-Mo Taylor
    SF-Terence Morris
    SG-Some form the Draft(Calvin Murphy?:))
    PG-Moochie Norris

But then I woke up form my dream.

    1) Draft picks have no trade value until signed. Once signed, they can not be traded until around Dec. 15th.

    2) KT for Odom does not work capwise. Another player would need to be added and must be acceptable to the Clipps. Moochies contract length would be a deterent so you are down to Collier. IMO, KT + Collier + 15 doesn't get it done for the Clipps. (The Clipps can take in more salary as they are under the cap, but the Rcokets must ship out equal or greater contracts).

    3) Rashard Lewis is seeking a Max contract and will become a BYC player once signed by Seattle. Because Lewis has a player option, he can not be part of a draft day trade. It will be impossible to trade for Lewis without a 3rd party team which is under the cap (Bulls, Wiz, Clipps).

    4) Any trade for Glen Rice not conducted with a team under the salary cap means the Rockets have to take back equal value - $9.2m.

    5) I doubt Memphis would trade Gasol but Mobley + KT does not work capwise.

I'd trade KT and the 15 to move up and pick Tsika, maybe for the #8 and Harold Jamison? I'd also try 15, KT, and Moochie for Lamar Odom and Keyon Dooling. Then again I'd be happy if we stayed at 15 and picked either Nachbar, Jared or Chris Jeffries.
