IMO the Simpsons went down hill after they ran out of ideas and made Homer r****ded for cheap laughs. Fox can dump it. Just don't dump Family Guy!

IMO, the Simpson became unfunny once they left the Tracy Ullman Show. So there, :p I win.

So the Simpsons isn't funny because Homer acts r****ded but Family Guy is great even though Peter actually is legally r****ded on the show?

Peter's stupidity has always been over the top...he hasn't changed since episode # 1.

OTOH, Homer was dimwitted. The funny thing is the change in Homer's character probably happened as a result of Family Guy.

Simpson's is a waist of time, IMO.

Every time I watch any new episodes I might laugh once maybe twice through out the whole thing. The only reason I even turn it on because its the Simpson's. It used to be the best show on TV.

That said you can't blame them. I mean how many idea's can you possibly come up with? It come to the point where you know they are just milking it to many more $$$. Its not even about making the audience laugh out loud anymore...

I think the Simpsons has gotten a lot better the past three seasons.

Family Guy is a show for children. I thought it was funny in early high school.

Family Guy has been declining for 2 years at least.

American Dad has surpassed it by far for me.

Both shows are r****ded. It's the same show except they replace the Dog with an alien and Peter with a not fat guy.

The characters are absolutely nothing alike. It's a similar gimmick, to be fair. Father with unusual sidekick, but outside of the animation and the voices the shows aren't very similar at all.

American Dad doesn't rely on flashbacks or random cuts to tell their stories. There's nothing wrong with not liking the show, but you don't seem to have actually watched it very much.

Obviously, it became unfunny when Conan stopped writing for them and Phil Hartman died. ;)

My thoughts exactly. I can't believe someone wrote dump the Simpsons but keep Family Guy. If that's not madness then I don't know what is.
At least the Simpson might deliver a few laughs, now family guy doesnt deliver any. it's so unfunny that it's not even funny, just repetitive BS.

I still remember the "birds the word" Episode from this season, that did it for me and I stopped watching right then.

None of these shows make me laugh half as much as Frisky Dingo or Venture Bros. Still, I do like The Simpsons and FG, just not a lot of laugh out loud moments.

Yes, taking the wheelchair guy, giving him legs, and making him the main character of a show that is written and produced by the exact same people is not similar at all.

You are an idiot. I do not respect one thought you have ever posted because they are not your own. You regurgitate crap as if it was going out of style. If you were a flavor, you would be vanilla. You are boring, predictable, and so overly pc that you make me want to throw up on myself.

Man, where did that come from? I must have eaten something that didn't sit well at lunch. Maybe I'm just stressed at work. Hell, the guy didn't even attack me, he disagreed with me. Something must be wrong with me. Am I going insane?? Probably. I'm talking to myself on the internet.

That is absolutely not true, just like on the Simpsons, Peter has gotten more and more outrageous from season to season and Homer's trajectory started long before Family Guy, there's no way the Simpsons has ever changed as a result of Family Guy.
