As many of you all probably know by now -- it's out. Anyone pick it up yet?

I got it at SAM'S today for 27 bucks. The set was in with the normal DVDs in one of those big black packages. Best Buy was totally out, and I think they're cheaper at SAM'S anyhow.

Definately pick this up. I've only watched about 5 episodes on the first two discs, and haven't seen the special features yet, but it's really quite good. The production on the case is by far the best I've seen on any product like this. Very, VERY unique and creative throughout. The quality of the episodes is quite good as well.

I can't wait until the next discs come out.

I'm really disappointed in my girlfriend. She's as big a Simpsons fan as me, but she didn't get me the DVD for my birthday. She even bought me other ones, but not that one. :(

I picked up the DVD at Best Buy (on 75 and Parker in Plano) on Tuesday and they had plenty there when I went. It was $29.99, which ain't bad.

I love the discs, but I'm more looking forward to some of the later seasons showing up on DVD. While the first season was good, the show hadn't yet hit its stride. I've heard that FOX is going to try and have Season Two out by Christmas, but that's doesn't really seem likely. Hopefully it's not too long, though.

I haven't had time to go through all the extras (including most of the commentaries) yet, but I'm sure glad they're on there (and others have said they're all quite good).

hmm the first season was shorter than the rest so future editions will probably have more discs (and cost more $$$) or fewer extras

    What's on it?

Our stage manager here at a club I work at until the season starts got a Simpsons DVD through mail last Friday. The minute he came into work he dashed to the mailroom, which wasn't like him.

I love NBA.comTV, love it. But other non-stop stations I'd watch:

    NFL Films TV
    Simpsons TV
    Dallas TV
    Seinfeld TV

    Anything else?
