Simple trade to create a roster spot for Mike Harris

    Snyder and Luther for Charlie Bell.

    Bell is done in Milwaukee. He wants out and he's gonna keep stinking it up until they move him. Snyder and Luther should be a salary match and they get a shooter back in Luther. We get a slightly bigger Luther with $18 mill in salary. More importantly we get a roster slot for Harris.

    Yeah this trade me no like. I say Rafer Alston + Luther Head + 2nd rounder for Chaucey Billups! Weee! (Or take out the 2nd rounder for Mike Bibby!)

    Why all the love for Harris? He was cut weeks ago, and hasn't gotten a sniff from any other NBA teams. Do you think that Harris is better than Synder or Head...he's not...either of those guys would get picked up by another team within days of being cut. You suggest that we exchange two serviceable guards, one of which was the Rockets first round pick from last year (Head) for Charlie Bell...a bad player with a bad contract so that we can also pick up Harris. Doesn't make sense to me. If Harris was clearly better than either Snyder or Head, Morey would cut them and sign Harris for the minimum.

    He's 6'6 and plays PF. We don't have room for another midget PF. We already have Landry and Chuck.

    to cut snyder would be to burn the money owed him. harris was cut because it was the best financial move they could make. harris said he may wait for an offer from the rox before signing with another team.
