Congrats to Nomar's Red Sox, who swept the Series from the Diamondbacks (although game 1 will be forever questionable). I'll give you guys the rest of today and until tomorrow night to resign your own free agents - post offers in this thread or talk to me in chat. Also, post when you can do free agency. I'll explain how it's going to work when I have more time...

Yeah, congrats Nomar. I really would have liked to have won at least ONE game so that the series was semi-exciting, but good job nonetheless.

    Hey guys.

Congrats on a great season Nomar.

I, on the other hand, continue not to win despite being the Yankees!

    Zac,

Can you resign Ben Davis (c) for me please? 3 years up to $5 million per. Thanks.

I will be available for Free agency anytime during the week. Preferably after 6:30-7:00. The later the better for me

    Hayes -
Davis initially asked for 9 for 3, but I got him to sign for 5 for 3. So, he's back with the Janquis.

As of now, it's too late to resign other free agents. Just started the new season (not updated to the site yet).

Free agency will be at 7:30 central on Thursday night. Everyone I've talked to can make it at that time. Feel free to email me offers for any free agents before then, as well - but be in chat if you want to hear how they react to your offer.

Site should be updated if you look at it on Thursday.

Any chance the player profiles will be up before the FA - it would be real helpful.

Heath: no. They'll be updated after free agency because if it were done at this point, I would have to upload the profiles with ratings, and that would defeat the whole purpose of having only talent listed in the ratings report. I am, however, thinking of having ten or fifteen minutes prior to the start of FA where anyone can ask me anything they want to know about the free agents. So feel free to go information-grubbing then.

    Nomar: *cough* deal *cough
    ;)

Hey Zac I am not sure what you mean by this. Are you saying you don't want the talent numbers showing up in the profiles> If that is what you meant I guess I will inform you that they are showing up directly on the FA page.

Well, not too much interest was shown in the pick. The 2 offers I did get were nice, the Goulet one I would have done for sure if only his Brilliant swapped with the Good next to it :), but I guess I will go ahead and go with Mr. Kyle Hoff and just wait 4 years for him.

Holy cow, SF3, I didn't know you were looking to "trade" your pick. I would love to acquire that spot. Do any of my good players sound good to you? Vladimir Guerrero, Wade Miller, Glendon Rusch, Tomo Ohka? Anyone?

    Were you also wanting Twiggy?

RR - yeah I made a post about looking to trade in the trade discussion thread. Those guys are a bit too old for me though :(. What I was looking for mostly was a talented pitcher at around age 24-26 that was just on the verge of being/or already mlb ready. The reason being the timetable for Hoff doesn't coincide with that of the majority of my top prospects. In 4 or 5 years when he is ready the Stovers and co will be in their 30's.

I am making the pick tonight because it is very likely I will not be awake yet at 1:30 central when the draft starts :). So don't want to hold it up. But if it was Hoff that anybody else would have wanted with the pick I am certainly still open to discussion.

Manny - I wasn't wanting Twiggy, but after taking a look at him I would be very interested in acquiring him if possible. He fits what I need almost perfectly age and talent wise.

    SF3:

So, essentially you were wanting Goulet and Twiggy or Cole?

Eh..I could trade one of those 3 along with some other players, but I couldn't deal 2 out of those 3.

Uhh...anyone else confused about the draft? Right now it is just Heath and I in the chat 20 minutes after it was supposed to happen...what is going on?
