Nothing from Lebron about staying in "The Land" and making a late season run. No indication he wants the NJ pick dealt for a multi year sidekick that would likely be the 2nd best player on that team. They have some assets and could easily make a move or two that HE would endorse.

    Nothing at all?I

f you are Lebron and you know that Houston is an option in the offseason...... Why not get another shot at a ring now. Seasons are fleeting (Tony Romo). I would have thought an article where (via a source) the idea of him being dealt is dismissed in favor of some positive home town mojo BS. Just cause he hasn't said deal me, doesn't mean that couldn't happen really quick. He looked done the other night. He can't mope around like that for too long, Jordan didn't

I predict that he is dealt to Houston in the next 40 or whatever hours.

    No chance.
Cleveland has so little incentive to do that.

All this Lebron talk as if he’s more than likely to end up here is just wasted days much like a whole summer of Melo “definitely” coming to Houston.

Let’s enjoy the present. We have a chance to win it this year barring any injuries and the only knock we have on our roster when fully healthy is our starting power forward is being paid $10 mil too much. We’re not making a big trade and we’re looking good.

Rockets quietly gauging the market for Ryan Anderson
Worriers quietly confident they would smash the Rockets
    Cavs (not so) quietly imploding.

For all the quietness, sure is a lot of 'noise'. ;) It's not as quiet or silent as they would lead you to believe.

A week ago the media claimed LeBrons short list was Warriors, Spurs, Miami and would consider Houston,
    Lakers and Cavs.

    https://nesn.com/2018/02/nba-rumors-lebron-james-could-meet-with-these-six-teams-in-free-agency/

Warriors: LeBron squashed that rumor as soon as his people put that out there.

Spurs: Just like CP3 before; LeBron will say Kawhi/LMA friction is too much drama.

Miami: recent report has come out claiming the Heat felt like LeBron quit on them during the 13/14 playoffs.
just stick your finger in his eyes when he is considering your team. Probably pushed by rivals. Morey behave.

Houston: perfect fit, solid organization, best friend with team.

Lakers: just tapped out from competing for LeBron this summer. Knew their team is too young to attract the King.

Cavs: if you read articles from Bleacher Report-Cleveland Cavs:
    Owner/GM very distant from LeBron.
Team did not consult with LeBron prior to Kyrie move.
Team did not consider any recommendations from LeBron this past summer.
LeBron cussed out two executives in a meeting last month.
Nets pick is off the table. Dan Gilbert wants to sell the team. Pick doesn’t leave the cupboard empty.
Cavs Suck.......Nothing but chaos at the moment.
Powder keg about to blow up.

DM’s best work is done on his second choices. The league, and not landing the favorite free agent of the season have saved him from himself multiple times, in hindsight. Maybe wanting LaBron but not getting him is the Rocket Way which is a good thing. Rethink to Aaron Gordon or Kevin Love, please.

People need to read between the lines. If someone asks LBJ if he is open to a trade of course he is going to say no because CLE will never do it now. He wants to make them the bad guy when he leaves. His Griffin trade comments last week tell you exactly how he feels. He wants to leave now but can't. The whole team has quit and it really is just a matter of management caving. They don't have the balls or brains to do the right thing but this poison is running through their entire team. Winning is a culture that takes years to build. Losing is also a culture that takes no time to tear it all down permanently. Where is the next LBJ to rebuild it? Kyrie was a nice piece but the Cavs were a perennial lottery team with him. How many Olajuwons come around? How many Hardens?

Cannot agree more on Morey plan B or C being his best work. That said, option for Aaron Gordon is my preference.
