For a couple of years now I have been thinking of getting a basketball signed by "The Dream".
Now that he is close to retiring I want to get one soon because when he does retire the basketball will get alot more expencive.

Here in Australia I can get this signed ball for $1000 (US$630) with the certificate of orthenitcity..

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it is to get one in the US.It may be cheaper for me to order one from the US instead of buying one here in Australia. Also if someone could get me the infomation hopw much to get a signed Barkley basketball also.Im looking for the signitures on an official NBA game ball and they must have there certificates.

    Thankyou [IMG]

I'll check it out for you Christopher - can't promise when, but next time I'm near one of those Memorabilia stores I'll look inside.

    This is a true story!

I had an Akeem Olajuwan signed basketball once. It was one of those rubber balls that get thrown out, for free, to the fans at like a H.S. or College game... Anyway it was a red ball from U of H. Akeem signed it at a U of H function back in the day...

Well a couple of years ago, I was getting some stuff out of my closet at my Mom's house and I found the ball!!!

The ink from the "ball-point" pen turned into a GIANT blob as it soaked into the cheap rubber that the ball was made out of!! The balls sat in a closet for a period of 10+ years!!!

    It was so freakin funny.

I laughed and cried at the same time...

    hahahasnifflesnifflehahahaha

    oh well

That sounds like a steep price to pay for a Hakeem ball, back when MJ was still with upperdeck you could buy a leather MJ ball for 500-600. I would not pay more than 150-175 for a hakeem ball...note if any 1 is looking for a Steve Francis ball goto www.tristarshows.com and it comes with the letter for 125$ tri star had a show in San Fran right after the draft in which Steve made a apperance, but with you being in OZ that may be the price you have to pay....i would go online and check out some US sites and see what you come up with, or check out a Tuff Stuff, there are lots of Ads with some sure to have that ball....at that price you could buy a team ball from 1 of the Championship teams.

Wow thank's for the help you guy's.
Im a bit reluctant to buy things over the web,but it looks like I may have to get this ball over the net just because it will be cheaper.
If I do buy over the net however I would rather buy from a large, well known store.

    Rockhead,I feel your pain [IMG]

Any additional help anyone can give me would make me a very happy person [IMG]

no more than $200 if it's from the last couple of years. If he spells his name with an "A" instead of an "H", then go a little more.
