My fiancee' got fired after five months selling billboards at SignAd. It'll end up being a good thing since this "Christian" company is anything but, but it sucks for right now, especially after we had a budget in place to pay off a substantial portion of our personal debt and have the money saved up for the honeymoon of her dreams, but that last part can be made up for. It'll end up being a good thing because SignAd is a **** company. This is the same "Christian" company that refused to let her get credit for selling boards even after her client's check was signed, their credit approved, and the paperwork on her boss' desk because the boss somehow forgot he approved a $25 decrease in the monthly payment for the board (probably about a 3% discount). The same boss then complains the very same day that none of his employees could sell the board for months. This is the same company whose sales staff collectively couldn't sell a board in their first three months, yet my fiancee sells six her first month, despite being the youngest. This is the same boss who told my fiancee on repeated instances that she was doing a fantastic job and had a bright future at the company. This is the same boss who told her today that the available boards in her area increased 10% this last month, but forgot the fact that they added more than 10% to her territory in new boards. This is the same boss who decided it'd be funny to lead a discussion among his employees about how my fiancee was lying about living in Alaska and her Dad working in the White House in the Secret Service during Bush and Clinton. This is the same "Christian" company that docked my fiancee a day's pay for going to the funeral of a family member. Bottom line, if you need a billboard, don't do business with SignAd. Go to Viacom or the Devil themselves (Clear Channel). Don't do business with a company that wears its religion on its sleeve, but does nothing to back this up. So, if anyone needs a very accomplished sales person, I have the right woman for you!
sorry to hear about her firing. but...if she wants to work for an optometry company (TSO) full time and wants to be a receptionist I think I know a place. I can probably ask them if they need anyone in sales.....just thought i'd throw something out there.

I work for Fort Bend Publishing. I'm in the production department. We do alot of magazines like the Houston, Fort Bend and Katy Lifestyles and Homes magazines, a couple of chamber magazines, Remodeling Guide, etc, etc. My boss is always looking for GOOD sales reps to sell ads, especially considering that we will probably start publishing a Lifestyles and Homes magazine for the Woodlands area sometime this year.
