    best asian swingman.
could as a small forward with good athletism.

very good 3 point shooter, which is what we need. has a good reputation for knocking down open looks. yao can kick it out to him for open 3's and he will make them.

he scored 19 pts against australia, was 5-6 from 3 point land.

    what do you think?

this guy has some NBA future... more than xue yueyang.

projected to go in the draft next year... but so was mo ke and he got snubbed.

anyway... this should have gone in the liu wei thread.

Seriously you have to stop doing this.

Edit: Well I might as well explain why this is a bad thread to start, so maybe you can learn something.

First off, Zhu hasn't been through the draft process yet, so the Rox can't just sign him. And we have a forum for college and international players. That is where this post should have went.

Secondly, we don't need a new thread everytime a CNT player has a good game. All of these suggestions can go into CNT game thread. ESPECIALLY since guys like Yi and Zhu can't be drafted for 1, 2 or possibly even more years.

Thirdly, can we keep the CNT hype down. It only opens yourself up for attack when someone plays poorly later on. I really don't think Liu Wei needs Tony Parker comparisons at this point of his career.

Hopefully you take my suggestion and don't start a thread about the CNT water boy next week.

    what did i do?

rockets need a three point shooter RIGHT?
this guy knocks down 3pointers very well at high fg%.
and so what if he can jump or not? all that matters is putting the ball in the hoop.

so what is wrong with suggesting a chinese player? because he is chinese and all chinese players suppose to suck right?
just like before the yao got to play and was chinese, he was "Shawn Bradley." still can detect the biased attitudes toward players of asian origin.

No, because you want to turn the Rockets into the Chinese national team. Most of theme wont even make good bench warmers.

    hi --

yes Chinese players / Chinese people don't get the respect they deserve. i'm sorry people are being mean to you, especially since you're a new member.

    however,

    a) you should do more research before posting new threads. because this forum, unlike many others, prides itself on tidiness and relevant threads. for example, Zhu Fanyu is projected to be a second round pick in 2005. we cannot just "sign" him. we would have to do it through the draft.

    b) in the Game Action forum, people usually like to read concise things that are extremely relevant to the Rockets. this doesn't quite qualify. but you could have maybe started a thread about your thoughts on Zhu Fangyu's potential in the International ball forum or the NBA forum.

    c) server space is a premium so you could have also written about Zhu Fanyu in the existing thread you made that is very similar.

In any case, people just don't want a whole bunch of non-relevant stuff in the Rockets forum. Because in theory the Rockets can sign anyone, and we don't really need a million "Rockets should sign XXXXX" threads.

Don't give up posting threads though, and please don't be offended. :)

Here is the thing, I agree this thread's existence and meaningfulness is subject to debate, however, I urge everyone here to show some class and write things kindly. Before just let the rolling eyes roll, think about how you would feel if the remark you are about to write is toward youself. I doesn't have to be this way. Put down :) s, and people would listen to you more.
